I have been to the establishment a couple times and thought maybe it was just a bad day there but they offer a buffet serve between 11:00 and 2:00 p.m. I went there today around 12:50 p.m. and it was absolutely disgusting the pizza that had been sitting under the heat lamp was completely dried out, it was worse than what you might expect at a bad gas station, the chicken was completely dried out my point is if you're going to have a buffet you should absolutely make sure you're serving hot fresh food which they did not do nor the last time I was there. So when I went today I was expecting anything but what was being served at the buffet like I said the pizza was horrible it was impossible to get service, it was a complete rip-off I absolutely wonder how many people also feel the same way about their offering for the price I cannot recommend this Village Pizza and Pub it was absolutely disgusting what they served! I literally had a couple bites and I was happy to pay my bill leave a tip but also in return leaving honest review of how horrible the offering was in their Buffet every item which were only a couple. They had fish which were basically frozen fish sticks, dried chicken that was not fresh. It was absolutely disgusting I'm sure of Gordon Ramsay went there they would have to be an intervention :-) don't go there it's a rip-off and it's hard to get anyone to even wait on you to bring...
Read moreThis was my 1st time ordering from here. This was Friday October 18th. I work a few blocks away and was ordering a pizza to pick up on my way home. I ordered a 14" Double Decker Meat Lovers with almost $20 in additional toppings over the phone at about 3:50pm. The guy who took the order gave me my total and said it would be ready in 25 to 30 minutes. I waited for him to ask for a name and phone number, but he didn't and hung up. I waited about 25 minutes and when I went to pick up my order, I told the girl at the counter I was there to pick a $46 pizza. She asked, "what was the name?". I told her the guy who took the order did not ask. She then replied saying they thought it was a prank call, and she called for the guy I spoke to. He said he will put the order through now.
My problem I had with this was; They thought it was a prank call and did not put the order in. Why did they not ask for a name and phone number? They did not apologize for not putting the order in and having me wait another 25 minutes or so. They did not offer anything to make up for my having to wait an additional 25 minutes or so.
Outside of that issue, the employees were very nice, and the pizza was better than expected. I will order from them again because the food was so good and the employees were very nice. I will call back if they do not ask for a...
Read moreI've had some great pizza here in the past, and talked it up as one of the best in the area. I've always sat at the bar, and had mostly mediocre service that I typically overlook. My last visit was indeed my last. The woman behind the bar set the bar for some of the worst service I've had. I've seen her there before, she wasn't that busy this night and skipping all the detail she was as disinterested as could possibly be in serving us drinks and food. We were both drop-jawed at her demeanor and and that an establishment would allow her to be a front person to customers. Anyway, the pizza eventually came out, and it was unbelievably bad. It was a sausage/pepper/onion that had so little sausage (rip off), and so much green pepper layered over the top (not chopped, not really cooked) that we both agreed it was one of the worst pizzas we've ever had. Every place has off nights, but this was really bad tasting pizza, coupled with horrible bar service. I heard later from other online forums they had recently changed ownership. Good luck, that place is permanently off my list and I'm happy to spread the word of our terrible...
