Econo Lodge East Ridge — Hotel in East Ridge

I really Can't say Anything Bad about this location, They have always been accommodating to me. It's always Been pretty clean and very good prices. I think I've met everyone that works there because I've stayed there so many times working out of town that I haven't had a unpleasant experience. I just can't tell you enough for the price and what you get. This is excellent! It's not where I'm planning on going on vacation, but it's definitely more than enough at a fair price for when I'm working out of town. Last time I was actually here I tried to help someone out that I met while I was eating dinner the following day and I got them a hotel room. Let me tell you don't ever do that! I don't know what happened to this person but it was not the person I had met. They went ballistic and went crazy. I thought I was going to have to call the police. Fortunately enough the owners were more than understanding and kicked him out, Because I didn't know how I was going to explain this but they realized that there was a situation going on and they really did help me and it was never my intentions to ever put someone in a hotel room that's in my name and them not be courteous and nice and respectful. They were more than understanding. I was so embarrassed I didn't know what to say except for. Thank you to them and it would never happen again. So it's nice to find a location that I've been staying at several times. Understand that I was trying to help someone and it backfired on me and they told me basically not to worry about it. They are really good people here. I definitely will stay here every time I am out of town working in this area! Thanks again for a clean, affordable room! Can't wait to see...

This Econolodge 2-night-stay was a pleasant one. It is clean. There isn't trash outside all over the place. They take pride in their work here.

It is set back from the main road, so keep your eyes out for the sign or you might miss it. (Though we aren't far from the highway, so I still can hear trucks going by in the distance).

Dan at the front desk was kind, welcoming and professional at our 11:30pm arrival. I had mistakenly booked two rooms for one night instead of one room for myself and my son but Dan was patient and respectful and totally competent and made the correction that needed to be made.

Our room is very very clean! and spacious, even with two double beds, a small table and 2 chairs. The AC is strong and works great. There are plenty of outlets. There is a coffee maker, fridge, microwave and hairdryer. They also have a coffee machine coffee and juice machine in the front office

Everything is clean! I'm so appreciative!

We had one minor issue with our tv, so we went to the office to let them know. Kevin at the front desk came right away and fixed it in under 1 minute. He then kindly explained to my son how it happened and how to use it without having additional problems.

I am extremely grateful to find places with owners that take pride in their work and also work hard and teach that to their staff. This is a gem as far as affordable hotels.

Google won't allow me to give zero stars or I would. Traveling from out of town and had 2 nights reserved. The 1st night we had to switch to another econo lodge, which was seemingly painless through Choice Hotels. The second night we were in contact with the hotel at approximately 5:00pm telling them we would be arriving late. We were assured that any arrival time would be fine and that our reservation still stood. Multiple attempts to call the hotel between 5:00pm and our arrival time were met with no response. No answer. The phone just rang and rang. After arriving at the hotel after 17 hours on the road, there was a hand written note tapped to the door saying "closed 10pm-6am the door was locked and the blinds were shut. It was 5:50am when we arrived. I rang the bell, knocked on the door and tried any way I could to get someone's attention for 45 min! At 6:30am I gave up and went to another hotel where I was able to get a room. I contacted Choice hotels where I made the reservation and was assured I would not be charged for the room for these 2 days. Come to find out econo lodge charged me anyways for both nights. Now trying to get my money back is like pulling teeth. Will never attempt to stay at this econo lodge again! Do yourself a favor, book with the Quality Inn next door you will...
