didnt have a great experience but the kids were happy we showed up at 5 and immediately reserved a spot to see santa the wait was 3 hours and 15 minute but we decided to stay in the store look around let the kids play and hit all the crafts and offerings. When my husband went to check on the wait the people near the register station told him that they we couldnt be seen because santa was leaving at 8:30 and there was a malfunction with the registering it should have cut us off at a certain point. Mind you we got there right when santa showed up and it was now 8:00p.m. i get livid and asked for someone to talk to and they directed me to somebody the lady asked us if we have left the store and i told her we have been there since 5p.m. she stated they sent us a message a long time ago but it must have not gone through or we didnt recieve it (which we never got a text) she was really polite and let us go in line but it was still aggravating haveing 3 kids and a crowded store with a long wait time and then the whole ordeal of not letting us see santa after waiting for so long i hope all of these kinks gets worked out because it seems to get worse every year when we go

Bass Pro or REI - Co OP for BEST GEAR and BEST VALUE$?? Bass Pro is becoming the New Walmart Outdoor Section. Mostly everything made in China and with the trade war...prices are bound to increase drastically!! REI sells quality European made gear their Loma Boots that will outlast your "run of the mill" brands like Merrel, Hooka and Under Armor. Discounts? Become a LIFETIME MEMBER for only $30 and get 10% Off on every purchase in store or online. No Member Mondays like Bass Pro. REI members get 10% every single purchase.. they give you the membership back in the form of a $30 gift card on your first purchase. REI does not have a loyalty night ...they are loyal are year long. Get your bottle of water and hotdogs from costco. They have a better larger selection of merchandise in the store than Bass Pro, in my opinion. BEST PART. NO EXTRA CHARGE - Gear Guide Warranty. REI members get 12 months to like their purchase or return it. COME ON BASS PRO..GET IT TOGETHER

Went to see Santa for the 1st time this year. Our reservation was accommodated, even though I made a mistake and read the time wrong. They assured us it was OK, and the photographer and the other elves (host and assistant) assured us everything was fine just enjoy our time. Everything was smoothsailing, we even added a package of pix bc upon arrival I noticed my 4 year old and his 50something Poppi were dressed alike, so he had to join the fun, and it was well accommodated. The pics were great and of course even though I was going for a quick trip for pix, somehow some good prices jumped in my buggy. Whoops! One more errand I won't have to run before Christmas.

I fully realize that we're in the midst of a pandemic, but measures being taken by Bass Pro Shops to nevertheless get your business by taking orders for items that were never in stock or their reach just to prevent you from shopping elsewhere is about as lowdown as a company can get toward its customer base. I made an order that clearly indicated the two items were in stock. In Stock means that they have the item in their possession and if you purchase it from them and perform a checkout and commit payment for the item(s) with your credit card or other payment, those items are yours to be processed and shipped to you.

A week later I receive an email that "part of my order has been delayed." Another week later they simply cancelled the item, leaving one item with a shipping date. Yesterday, I receive an email that the only other item in my order has been delayed in the same manner as the first. I am only waiting now for a week to pass wherein I very strongly predict it will simply be cancelled altogether. So that's nearly one month of stringing me along just to prevent me from shopping and obtaining the item elsewhere. I went to their online chat system and was notified that I was number 53 in the queue, so apparently other people are catching onto their tactics as well.

Well I've since gone online to another retailer to find that they had the item in stock and I contacted them to confirm. Their chat system had no waiting at all. The order was made for the very same item at a lesser price and I already received notice today that UPS ground has given the package a shipping tracking number and will be on its way Monday.

So the apparent truth of the matter is that Bass Pro Shops apparently never had the items I ordered actually in stock and instead simply kept me on the hook through my order for almost one month to prevent losing business. Bad decision on their part and poor customer retention strategy. The fact that the items I needed were immediately accessible elsewhere and verified as being in stock and already given a UPS tracking number lets me know that Bass Pro Shops is working entirely under the premise of ulterior motive. My business with Bass Pro Shops is permanently discontinued. If I can obtain the exact same items at a better price and get them on their way so quickly, then why in the world would I grant Bass Pro Shops my patronage and commitment to shop there at all? They intentionally wasted my time.

So if you need any item whatsoever, whether ordered or in store, check elsewhere first before going to Bass Pro Shops. You'll save money and get what you need when you need it instead of being strung along merely to try and keep you on the hook in the entire absence of actually possessing the items being advertised online as "In Stock." Nothing could be further...

I’m beyond upset and frustrated with Bass Pro Shops and their complete lack of communication! Since October of LAST YEAR I have been trying to get in touch with their corporate office about an issue THEY caused when my husband and I visited one of their stores. That visit led us into a nightmare of a timeshare with Bluegreen Vacations, and it has been downhill from there. I have sent emails, written letter, even mailed one directly to their corporate office outlining my concerns and asking them for their guidance. I got NOTHING. Not one response. It’s now March in an entirely new year, and still nothing. That speaks volumes about how they operate and how it makes me feel like they care very little about their customers. This timeshare situation they have tied to is financially destroying my family and I. All I’m asking for is for Bass Pro to take some responsibility for it and refund us the money we are drowning in because of this poor partnership. We have been able to use the timeshare just three times since we purchased but every year they demand more money for maintenance fees. Fees that keep going up and mind you, which we were NEVER told would happen. They specifically said those payments would stay the same, even when it is passed down to our children now that’s another lie that we were fed. Who in their right mind would want to saddle their kids with this kind of burden? The fact that Bass Pro Shops hasn’t even had the decency to respond to me is insulting. I have given them ample time to show basic respect and they have failed! Over and over again. This mess started because of them yet here I am left in the dark, and stuck with the forever long ongoing issues. Take accountability and make it right because this is beyond unfair. Absolute disappointment doesn’t even begin to cover how I feel about...

Well one thing about shopping there when you walk in you immediately have people coming up to you for their promotion sale. So we stop and listen sounds pretty good of course if anything's too good and it can't be true. So we go ahead we sign up they go through their speech. All of this is the Hilton Grand vacation. You pay money up front you get a little bit of money back you get a gift card for signing up. So we called to make the reservation they want to know your whole life history they really get into detail then they have to nerve to deny you of the vacation because of different qualifications. Meanwhile the two reps that were there at Bass pro shop never mentioned everything that you had to have to qualify just to go up to the Smoky mountains for a couple of days just to relax get away from life kids work life etc. So when you call and they quote don't qualify you you will pay hell to get your money back they don't want to give you your money back because supposedly this little gift card that they give you that's part of the money that you paid them that they want to include. No there's nowhere that said that when I paid you my money that the gift card had to be in there as a refund. Very disappointed and Bass pro shop I give them a one rating on this promotion deal that they're doing one the reps are not honest when they're trying to sell you this they leave out a lot of detail then take your money and then you're out in the open wondering what's going on. I don't recommend anyone doing the Hilton Grand vacations you just need to be very careful where you're going who you're talking to and try to get your money back it took me over 2 hours to get my money back from these people. So Bass pro shop very...
