Staying at the hotel next to this business, I decided to patronize this place for dinner at around 6:45 pm. First thing I noticed was there were zero customers in the restaurant. I asked for a sample of the steak to order steak tacos and they gave me a sample which was decent and tasty. To order three steak tacos it was $12 and to order three chicken tacos i t was $10. I asked them if I could get two steak and one chicken and I was willing to pay, the steak price of $12 as I was traveling on business expense. The manager spoke up and refused to do so saying that it was against their policy for a mixed order. Mind you I was going to be paying more than what their menu prices showed. I explained this to the manager and she said I'm sorry, but this is against our policy. "You will have to pay for each taco individually and this will be more expensive."immediate turn off! Unbelievable that they have such an unfriendly customer policy. I have done this many times at Chipotle and no one has ever said no because I was willing to pay the higher price. I would recommend that you avoid this location, and as for me, I will never darken the door of another one of these franchises. I was about to spend over $30 for food, drink and dessert, which I gladly did so at the Newk's eatery next-door. Sad that they have lost my business forever as I travel to this hotel frequently and have eaten there before and the food was decent quality. Looks like they could have used the business as I was the only customer in the location...
Read moreWe had the East Ridge DosBros cater our event at Crabtree Farm on Feb. 2, a Sunday. The manager delivered the food herself at exactly the time requested, and promptly set up the buffet. You never know with catering, but I can attest to the fact that their food and setup looked exactly like the fancy corporate pictures. It really looked beautiful. The buffet needed to stay hot for about an hour while we waited for guests to arrive and play some baby shower games. The “steamers” that came with our order kept everything HOT for over two hours! They worked great. We had ordered food for fifty guests and found that the amount delivered was generous, with plenty for guests to go back for seconds - which they gladly did. Almost everyone remarked on how good and fresh everything was, how tasty, what a nice selection of items for our taco bar, etc. Two of the guests asked to know the specific DosBros that had done the catering as they intended to book with them for their next office event. East Ridge DosBros is the one you want, trust me. At the end of the shower several friends and relatives lined up to take home the leftovers. Haha. The only thing that got eaten 100% was the guacamole - NOT because there wasn’t plenty, it was because it was soooo good. People kinda went nuts for it. 🥑🐷 Do yourself a favor next time you need an event catered. Go over to East Ridge DosBros. They will do an excellent job. I recommend them without...
Read moreSigh. I know this site is newly opened (I work near the downtown location and go there often), so I will be back and I am writing this with that in mind.
Still, because it has become a consistent issue in ordering take out in this city, I'm being brutally honest.
Went to pick up my order. It was ready on time, but it wasn't correct, and I didn't realize how incorrect until I got home.
Before I left, I realized they hadn't given me my chips or my side of queso. Once arriving at home, I realized they had put the queso in the bowl (not what I ordered), and had given me barbacoa instead of steak. I paid more for steak, and the queso in the bowl wasn't at all what I was wanting or expecting.
I know these are simple mistakes, and in the end, I could still eat the food, but I am SO SICK of having to babysit the orders I make and pick up. I worked in food service, I understand it is a tough job, but it should be basic that you get the order right. Especially if it comes with a line-item list on the receipt of how it...
