Perfect lunch spot for delicious higher end Mexican food!
Shout outs to my wonderful coworkers for taking me here. El Pescador is a brand new Mexican restaurant that opened only for a couple months now. It is clean and very spacious inside with a full bar. I absolutely love the Mexican style decor, you definitely feel like you are dining in at an authentic Mexican restaurant!
Lunch options are great! Their lunch menu starts at $7.95 for chicken, beef, and pork options and $8.95 for seafood options. Both times I came for lunch I ordered the Tostada y Presidencial. Its basically white fish ceviche that comes with a fish and shrimp tomato based soup. The portion size is excellent and you will definitely be full after your meal. If not ask for more free chips and salsa! I also love how all the dishes arrive with cute little Mexican flags, they definitely put effort in making the dishes look presentable.
The only concern I have is that it takes awhile for your food to arrive on a busy day since everything is made to order and very fresh so I would not recommend this place if you are in a hurry during lunch. I would like to thank the wait staff for taking the time in splitting our bill 6 ways, I know it was a hassle to do but they really went above and beyond...

Read moreYesterday me and my husband went to celebrate our 25 year anniversary. Big mistake coming here now. I understand the wait time that wasn't a problem , the problem was once we were sat down we had to ask our waitress about 5 times for water. You could tell that they are not used to big crowds, there were alot of dodger fans watching the game. Once she came back and I put in my order just to be told they were out how do you sell out of the stuffed chicken poblano? It's my favorite dish that's why we chose to go there. I then ordered the Fiesta platter that was nasty the meat was burnt to a crisp on the nachos, the taquitos were so hard the only thing that was good out of the platter was the quesadillas with the guacamole other than that it was nasty. We decide to leave we ask for the check the waitress stood at the register 20 min literally looked like she was just touching the screen to look busy. She then never ever comes back we had to flag down another server for the bill. Worst experience ever and im sorry but the waitress should really be trained again or pursue another career cause being a waitress...
