Shasta Community Park — Attraction in Sacramento

This place is absolutely amazing.Great to take children of all ages , shaded picnic areas that can be reserved for birthday parties or other events. There is, I don't know exactly what you would call it, but a water area like miniature geysers.You press a button and then water shoots up. My kids love it.It's a big circle area, maybe 15 or 20 feethat hall the sprinkler geysers and misting feature. Also located between the 2 playgrounds.... There is plenty of parking. And a path that leads you through a extended grass area over to sport.Courts such as basketball court where there is more parking on that end as well. This park is one of the best in the South Sacramento area! They are located right next door to the local library, they have two covered areas with tables that can accommodate large family gatherings. They have 2 children's play areas, one is a Tot Lot, the other, a regular playground. They have a very large soccer field that could double as a football field. Nice park with playground for kids but also has a really good walking/jogging trail around the park which includes a few excercise workout stations. Video surveillance all around the entire park. Currently signs are posted regarding social distancing and mask-wearing rules. This Park is adjacent to the library and directly across the street from Cosumnes River College on the East side.
