Door County is lucky to have a Carlos, a chef of this caliber bringing world-class cuisine to the peninsula. The four-course prix fixe menu was nothing short of spectacular. From the perfectly prepared oysters to the beautifully crafted entrées and the decadent dessert to finish, every bite was a work of art.

The flavor of the oysters was so vibrant, a little bit of heat, and just so so so delicious. I loved the accompaniments with the bread service. The salad was light and flavorful. The duck was some of the best I have ever had - it quite literally fell off the bone! Tender and delicious on its own or made into a little taco. The chef, who had a 1 Michelin star restaurant in California, has brought his skills and talents to Ephraim, and I believe that it is only a matter of time before we here in Door County can have a Michelin rated dining experience.
