Sept2019: I returned to this hotel and the front desk lady was great. No issues on this visit. Aug2019: This hotel was a decent representation of what I felt I was paying for...in this price range...for the night. In consideration of that fact, it is correctly rated as just above a standard hotel. I booked this hotel as result of an unexpected visit to the BWI area. We needed a local room and decided to give it a try. I had a difficult time trying to locate the hotel since it is tucked in behind so many trees. We found the hotel and the parking spot in a timely fashion. I may contact with a desk clerk who pulled up the reservation and gave us keys to a room. I was given room #218 on the second floor. I immediately returned to ask for a different room since we are not smokers and this room definitely had a smoker in it. There was a bug in the bathroom that upset my spouse to the point she slept in her clothes all night. The morning breakfast was less than what we thought we were going to get but was adequate for what is normally thought of as an included morning breakfast. The walls in the specific hotel are also fairly thin as I heard someone behind my bed snoring besides my spouse....during the night when I woke up to used to restroom. when people left their rooms the doors would slam loud enough to reverberate inside your room. I noted cosmetic issues throughout the building, but it would be minor corrections for visual improvements as they would be needed to keep business expenses low as well as room costs.

I dont know what part is worse. Around 3 a.m., we kept hearing the door handle jiggle, and when my boyfriend got up to ask what they were doing, he got to the door just in time to slam it shut. A staff member "just wanted to check the key card," but why would you do that in the middle of the night with a woman in the room?? My ankle is broken, and if I was alone, this man would've just walked in on me undressed. That's terrifying. What could be worse than that? BEDBUGS EVERYWHERE. Then they called like 20 minutes before check out asking why we haven't left yet. I asked for a refund and the woman at the counter said they would refund me, but she didn't even ask why I wanted a refund because she probably already knew all about the bedbugs. I'm waiting for the money to be put back into my account now. Don't waste your money here unless you want to wake up to strange men coming in your room and bedbugs on your pillow. They didn't even give me the room I reserved online and only provided one single towel for 2 adults.

The two nights I was here, I maybe got 5-hours of sleep due to real this walls, and could here people in the next rooms next to me, however and before that upon check in I arrived about 4-hours prior to the check-in time, and was told if I checked in early it would cost me $40.00/I'm a Wyndham rewards member and they would not check me in early unless I paid the $40.00, so I waited three hours, and front desk lady then checked me in. If a room was already ready & I am a Wyndham rewards member it makes no sense that I would be subject to a $40.00 early check-in fee (especially traveling 6-hours by flight from Seattle). So I fell asleep in the lobby there until check-in. I guess for waiting that long there were lost of ants on the window lobby (see the pictures with this review), I guess for waiting that long I get a room where the bathtub had hair in it, and some sort of mold on the wall above the shower head.

This is the absolute worst hotel for what is normally expected and I, for one, will never stay here again. Upon arrival the first thing you have to do is dodge all the droppings from the geese that roamed the property because they don't seem to clean the droppings up. The entrance and check in had a crisp appearance but as we were arriving a lady was requesting additional towels for their room of four for which there was only one towel supplied. Before heading to our room we had decided to stay an additional night and were charged an additional $10 beyond the price paid for the initially booked evening, that seems to be a rip-off. When we got to the room I liked the layout of the small kitchenette area, the one bed, the couch, and the desk area. After being there for less than 10 minutes the front cover of the air conditioner heater unit fell off and although we were able to put it back on, it did not stay on and even after advising the front desk of the issue, no one ever came to fix it. As for the microwave, it is sufficient to heat something up but not large enough to put a takeout box inside. My biggest complaint would be that of the bathroom as well because my husband is disabled and has balance issues yet this hotel offered no ADA bathrooms nor did they have any type of seat to put into the bath in order for him to safely take a shower or bathe. A minor issue in the bathroom is that the toilet paper is way across from the toilet on the wall instead of being located close to where you're sitting in order to reach the paper. The hot water was sufficient and the hair dryer worked. The room was supplied with an iron and ironing board. When we got up the next morning, we were preparing to leave for our running for the day and left the do not disturb sign on the door before we were ready to leave which was about 10:30 a.m. and before any normal checkout time. After our first order of business out and about the town we came back to find that our trash had not been emptied nor had our room been serviced so as I questioned the front desk they made us aware that because we had the sign out on the door while we were getting dressed they never came back to the room to service it and I find this appalling because most room attendants start with the overnight stays or checkouts for the day and will check the overnighters once they are done with the first group but that never happened for us. I requested that someone change our trash and provide us with clean towels but we were informed that they do not have 24-hour maid service. This was requested around 3:00 or 3:30 p.m. so it should have easily been accommodated. It was advertised that they had a continental breakfast so to say but I wouldn't even call it that. The breakfast that they served was in a takeout container and was merely a warm serving of yogurt with a bagel and cream cheese and a bottle of Sunny D. I remember the carpet was quite dirty and needed to be replaced or cleaned. Another thing that comes to mind is the elevator that took us up to the third floor to our room. When the elevator car came to a stop the brakes were extremely loud and screeching, which could be a sign of an imminent malfunction. I would suggest to whatever departments or authorities that oversee hotels make an immediate visit to this...

The location is the best thing about this roachtel. It was pretty convenient getting to and from the airport.

I booked this stay because the price was great.!! I was only in town for 1 night and knew most of my time would be spent outside of this hotel, but that old saying you get what you pay for rang true here.

Walking into the hotel where there was supposed to be doors there was plastic hanging from the ceiling and that was due to renovation. So I thought nothing of it. So after eating in the afternoon I saw this little “bug” crawling on the counter island next to the bed, but didn’t think anything of it, as it was just 1 very small bug.
