I’m BARELY able to stay here tonight simply because we brought our own pillows and won’t take a shower. READ WITH CAUTION!!!! Upon checkin I was given keys to 129 but when I got there, the light was on, food on the table, and bed not made. I knocked, used the key, poked my head inside and realized this room is definitely not made. When I went back to the desk to tell the clerk someone was in the room, he said “I don’t know what’s going on… do you want another room.” I replied “YES I want another room. This is someone else’s room. I don’t want them walking in while I’m sleeping.” Did he seriously think I’d keep the dirty room?!?!
He gave me keys to room 133 where the misery deepened. There’s a bullet hole in the window, the curtains don’t close all the way (thank goodness was for my handy close hanger hack). The fridge, microwave, and all surfaces need a desperate dusting. 2 of the lights don’t work. There’s toothpaste on the sink and handle from the prior person. The tub still has hair in it. Under the bed my husband found an 800mg ibuprofen (we check before we let our little one wander the room), and enough filth to go through an entire container of swiffer wipes. Many of the drawers have hairs or their bottoms are pushing through. The desk chair is a definite toss off of some office reject with gum and pen stains like many of its kind. The lobby smells like smoke with a full restaurant and bar filing noise into the parking lot with gusto. The people wandering the parking lot make me feel like I may be taking rotations with my husband to keep an eye on our truck.
Thank goodness I checked for bedbugs and we’re good there… and the bed is comfortable enough, with clean sheets, that we can get a good enough nights sleep without touching any other surface. If I hadn’t prepaid for this room on Expedia, I’d be canceling and finding another place in a heartbeat. Did I mention the tv doesn’t work. What else could possibly go wrong? WAIT, I don’t want to jinx myself…
SAVE YOURSELF!!!!! DEMAND TO LOOK AT A ROOM BEFORE YOU PAY FOR THE NIGHT. Make sure you know what you’re getting. You may be fine with all this for whatever deal you get. I personally like my hotel rooms without the fear of contracting something that may require a vaccine or anti-itch cream. I’m NOT kidding how nasty that...

We needed a pet friendly hotel with an ♿ Accessible room. That was a far stretch. They meet bare minimums. My husband had to go in and rearrange the room to fit my chair through the door. Then I got stuck between the dresser and bed trying to get to the bathroom. The bars were rusty and sticky. There was no seat and stepping in and out was out of the question so no shower for me. Plus it probably wouldn't have hit me anyway since the shower head was not accessible.
We found 2 dead bugs in the room. There was dust and dirt everywhere and tons of spiderwebs above the door.
I wouldn't be surprised you see a complaint about barking dogs. All night long there were rooms on either side of us blasting music. I could make out the lyrics clearly. They were going back and forth between the two rooms knocking loudly on doors which prompted my dogs to alert me. I finally passed out from exhaustion around 3:30/4:00 am. My husband said when he took his shower at 5am that he could hear them still blasting music.
When my husband was checking out the manager told him he had a complaint and asked them to take it in the room and if we would have called him he would have had the police come. He should have done that when the first complaints came in. The manager also said he knew the room wasn't the most accessible but would have helped if we had called. He gave us a refund which came to a whole whopping $1 and some change. I will definitely be contacting corporate.
Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere if you really...
Read moreAbsolutely do NOT recommend. Upon arrival we asked about the pool, the front desk assured a pool. 1.) the pool was NOT in working standard. Old nasty shirts laying about, debrief all over the pool deck, debrief all in the pool, the water itself was full of green algae- completely unusable. Once we got to our room the door was not working and had to be pushed open as the handle did not work properly, the room was filled with a mildew smell along with exposed wires. Staff left items laying about the room, the carpet was coming up and had what appeared to be dead bugs visibly showing. Nightmare of a hotel… with young children we expressed the concerns and working 20mins on site we notified front sealed that we did not feel comfortable staying in the condition. The lady was very friendly as she notified she’s relatively new, and insured the hotel will be canceled and will not be charged. We found a different location in a different town and the next morning around 11am was charged for the hotel room we did not stay at… called and the not so gentleman that answered looked at the room number and said we were still there. And then asked “exposed wires?” He then read off our cell number and name on the account and then stated “my system is down. I will call back later.” And hung up… -0/10 DO NOT STAY HERE.. • disgusting • rundown • chargers you when cancelled due to unhealthy conditions- when also stated NO charge.
we also have a printed out copy of the cancellation information stating $0.00 for total fees and...
