My wife and I came in to buy a mattress Saturday due to my wife’s back issues. We googled mattress stores and saw this place which had great reviews so we wanted it to be our first and was hoping for our only stop. We didn’t know what mattresses were going for these days so we wanted to look so we can discuss a budget and figure out what we needed. Jason greeted us. However he would not stop talking to my wife long enough for my wife and I to browse to see what we wanted. I was trying to look around but needed my wife with me to see what she liked and wanted. When I was finally able to get her attention to wave her to come over to show her a mattress, Jason followed her still trying to talk to her. I was trying to talk to her about a price range or budget and he kept jumping in. He would not allow my wife and I time to talk about anything. Then proceeded to talk to her about her tattoos and took out his phone to show her what tattoos he wanted. Meanwhile I’m trying to look at mattresses. Of course my wife didn’t want to be rude but he crossed a line to the point we left and went to Hanks furniture and bought a $3500 mattress within 20 minutes of being there. I don’t know about anyone else but when making a purchase of that magnitude, i don’t want the salesman up my wife’s butt to the point I can’t talk to her at all. Had he given us time and space to figure these things out and not jumping in while trying to ATTEMPT to ask or talk about anything with my wife and not been worried about my wife’s personal life and how she was doing or about her tattoos, he would have made a sale. Cameras are in there, see for yourself what happened. Not happy with this experience at all. We ended up getting a great mattress shortly after at...
Read moreJason and Sara took amazing care of us! After several months of sleeping on a horrible cheap innerspring mattress, today was the day where we said enough was enough. And of course we chose to do this on a Sunday. (So options were limited, but thank goodness they were!) We went to the Phoenix ave store looking for an affordable firm memory foam mattress, in stock, that could be taken out 0f the store right then and there. Not thinking that most places have to have mattresses shipped in. But... with a stroke of luck, amazing customer service, and some well placed humor, we walked out of there with a brand new queen memory foam mattress, and a raised platform base, for about $150 dollars less than what we were willing to spend. We did take advantage of their 72 hour sale. Seriously, that's a sale that needs to be talked about! But beyond that, it didn't feel like we were in a used car lot. (And we all know that feeling) Jason and Sara made us feel incredibly comfortable, which is good in a mattress store! If you're in the market for a new mattress, go see Jason and Sara at Mattress firm on Phoenix! You...
Read moreI had purchased an expensive mattress from one of your competitors. After about a week of sleeping on this mattress, it became very uncomfortable. I would wake up in the mourning with my back and neck in excruciating pain. I returned the mattress and the sales manager had no explanation for the cause of my discomfort. As a result, he could not recommend a better mattress.
I was driving by the new MattressFirm and decided to stop by; I told my story to the Sales Manager Marcelle who was working at the time. After my bad experience, I was very suprised to find someone who could teach me the basics of mattress 101. Marcelle was able to show me why my back and neck were hurting, and also found the perfect mattress and pillow combination for my comfort. My new mattress is ten times better than my old mattress and also less expensive. I am very grateful to Marcelle for caring and finding the proper mattress for my body type. Moroever, I would like to thank Mattress Firm for having such an awesome...
