The staff was awesome. They were all very friendly and tried their best to solve any issues. The common spaces in the hotel were very clean. The pool was nice, heated but still refreshing. Breakfast was included and yummy, they have the good waffle makers ready for use. The hotel wasn't very busy and check in and out were quick. There were some issues and the kind staff did their best to make it right. We did receive a voucher for a free night stay, if we happen to be back that way in the the next 3 months. Our room wasn't vaccumed before our stay. There was popcorn under the heater, by the bed and under the bathroom sink. A large dead bug was killed above the door and the remains were just left there. A drink had been poured all over the heater and not cleaned up. Dead ants had been after the drink and the chip crumbs inside the heater control panel when they met their demise and left there. We were only given 1 bath towel and the towels in the pool area are hand towel sized. The hot tub in the pool area had the knob broken off the timer to turn on the jets so you had to call the front desk to have the matinence guy come turn them on with pliers everytime they shut off. He had no problem doing that and was very nice explaining there was a broken part that he keeps fixing but it keeps breaking. However, the temperature wasn't staying hot either so that was disappointing. We were given a voucher for a free night stay to help make it right but I don't know if we will be back out that way in the next 3 months but that's all they could do because it was a 3rd party booking.

The building was pretty clean customer service was great the rooms were cleaned organized and had everything we needed in them. It was inexpensive and I paid $100 deposit for the room and $80 for the night for the stay I got my $100 back so we got a vacation away from home for less than $100 My only issue was with the pool and the bed sheets. I guess you get what you pay for . The bed sheets had multiple stains on them. The hot tub wasn't even functioning and they are doing renovations all throughout the building which wasn't an issue but while we were in the pool room swimming there was a man working with a scaffold and a scraper scraping old paint off of the ceiling and a lot of it was falling down into the pool and you could see the old paint chips floating all throughout the water it made me nervous to let my kids to swim for very long and the pool access was the biggest reason we chose this location. When the guy was finished for the day he started sweeping up the paint chips he scraped from the ceiling and a lot of them went into the pool and the stuff that had fallen down onto the poolside chairs remained. it was the only thing that was disappointing considering that was the main reason we went there. Other than that everything else was great. We will be back but not until they have finished Renovations at least in the pool room.

Parking is always full unless it’s morning time. The keys NEVER work and I’ve stayed here numerous times. Our very first set didn’t work.. and it’s super inconvenient given the location of the desk. Got them fixed, boom only one works, then it stop. Then, next set one would work the outside door but not the room. It’s been 3x today we’ve had to get them reprogrammed. Forget the last 3 nights.. we’ve lost count. Since typing this, two separate guests haven’t been able to get in the hotel with their cards. I let one in but then the second group ours wouldn’t even work AGAIN. They also have a severe fly problem… they will eat you alive. Forget an apology. They’ll change your room though… The breakfast bar has also been disgusting EVERY time. And if it’s windy/rainy you’ll know it because the windows are funky. Water doesn’t get hot unless you’re fortunate enough to get a bottom floor. Luke warm at best. The beds are very comfortable though.

The manger made me feel as if she was racist rather she was or not that’s how she made me feel the situation that happened could’ve been avoided but the manger was real aggressive toreds us when we genuinely just didn’t know we had to have a room to swim it was the first and only time me and my friends did it without having a room if the manger would’ve came at us respectfully without calling us stupid and simply said hey yk you can’t swim here without having a room we would’ve been like oh ok we’re sorry and we would’ve left or even when we walked through the front door the front desk girl knew me personally so why didn’t she go oh hey do you guys have a room here if not you guys can’t swim here because we went straight to the pool and was in there for an hour and a half before the manger came to ask if we had a room I can say yes I was wrong for throwing the towel but I can be honest I was angry I can’t control my anger and when she accused me of stealing the towel I got offended because I promise you stealing the towel was never my intention I honestly just forgot I had it around my waist and the towel in my hand I thought it was my dry clothes I had on before changing and there was just so much going on everyone was mad you know so I really honestly just forgot so i apologize for doing what I did if you would like to talk In person I wouldn’t mind coming to have a genuine conversation about what happened I’m not refusing to apologize or admit I was in the wrong again i apologize and just think the whole so could’ve be avoided there’s more to the story like I said if you would like me to come talk to you or even if you would like me to call you I’m willing to apologize for my actions I know I was...

So today is Saturday we called them on Wednesday and booked 2 rooms. Was told that the rooms would be held till I arrived and they would be side by side and one I arrived they would fix the price and put in our tax exempt the lady on the phone typed it into the computer and said see you Friday. We drove 7 hours straight from Kentucky to MI the first thing we wanted to do is get out of the car and stretch go into the hotel to get our rooms and was told they did not have us close to each other. And did not want to give the room for the online service cost of $67. They put one room for $67 and one for $87 keep in mind that both rooms are the same 1 bed room each for 1 night. I showed them online wad $67 and they said choice could not do that. Ok so I was going to pay. Then all of a sudden they asked for a additional $100 for what? I said no and I was going to call Choice witch I did and the man on the phone said y are they giving you 2 rooms for different prices when they are supposed to be $67 I said you tell me. While I am on the phone with choice like I told them I was going to do the manager followed me out and was watching me. The choice man called the hotel and they told him she left when she was outside watching me on the phone. We ended up leaving and going to a different quality inn& Suites were we got the room for $53 a night and the staff was much nicer and much cleaner. It didn't smell like dew and mold. The pool did work and was just a wat better experience. If you want to be treated like crap this is your hotel if you want to be ripped off this is your hotel. My advice is go somewhere else were you will...
