Cracker Barrel Old Country Store — Restaurant in Monroe

Monroe Michigan Crackerbarrel: The absolute worst dining experience I have ever had in my life. Took 1 hour to get a table. Took an additional 25 minutes for our server to come to our table. My rootbeer wad served a half hour after at room temp no ice. WHY? This was the first sign of wait staff incompetence. Took 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food to be delivered after ordering and our party of 4, the orders were all wrong except one and the food was ice cold as though it was sitting out somewhere for the past hour. I asked to speak with the manager. The location manager offered our meals at no charge. I refused because I will not eat something with eggs that has been sitting out somewhere for an hour or longer. What does this establishment want to do? Send their customers to the emergency room with food poisioning! Our server was absolutely horrendous. A month prior our server got our orders wrong too! Today, our server and the manager blamed an hour and 20 minute time point from ordering to food being delivered on the chicken strips that needed to be cooked. This is a lie. Chicken strips do not take an hour and 20 minutes to prepare. It was one excuse after another. The manager blamed it on Mother's Day. Our server blamed it on the kitchen. The blame is on our server and management. Other tables around us with 6 to 12 people in their party received their food quickly after we were seated. They were served their food, ate and left before our party of 4 received our food. Management and server can apologize all they want. There is no excuse for this high level of incompetence and absolute worst service I have ever experienced at a dining facility. I even mentioned to those in my dining party if Cracker Barrel offered a $500 gift Certificate for use for dining as a token of good faith I would never use it and shread it. I will never ever, ever be going back to a Cracker Barrel restaurant ever again. I will repeat; today was a disaster and a month prior was a disaster at the same Crackerbarrel facility in Monroe Michigan. Seems like Cracker Barrel is scraping the bottom of the barrel, (no pun intended), hiring the wait and kitchen staff they currently have. Another table behind us that had a party of 4 they were in the same predicament. They were sitting there for 40 minutes and no server came up to take their order. They walked out right after we did. My nephew and I try doing something nice for his mother, my sister , and my mother and look how Cracker Barrel treated us with so much disrespect. This reinforces why we will never step foot back in a Cracker Barrel ever again. Update; I received a link from the "owner" of this Cracker Barrel after i posted this review to discuss my visit further. The link is nothing more than a link to artificial intelligence and not the actual owner! This is ridiculous! They are hiding behind artificial intelligence. I had enough of wasting my time...

This is the worst Cracker Barrel I have been to and I love C. B. usually. I went today with my daughter and we ordered breakfast food, she asked for fruit instead of bacon or sausage. I ordered the cheesecake pancakes and a coke. The restaurant was busy however there were two tables that ordered after us one being a party of 2 the other was a party of 3 and both received their meals and were nearly done eating by the time ours came. When our meals did come, my eggs were cold, the filling in the pancakes was not good, the strawberries were frozen and my daughter could not eat her fruit as it was frozen as well. They were out of regular coke and ranch dressing. The table next to us ordered a salad and instead of telling them they didn't have ranch as they requested for their salad they waited until they brought the customer the salad to inform them they only had bleu cheese. The other table with 2 ladies at it had to send the toast back, my bacon was disgusting. I wondered how you can mess bacon up, for a place that serves breakfast food bacon should be easy to make. The server charged me for a chocolate milk when my daughter had a water. I asked to speak to the manager and told her it is sad for as busy as they are for their kitchen to have such issues and she wasn't sincere at all she kept repeating she would take the meal off of my bill which is not what I was looking for. The chocolate chip pancakes my daughter had you could buy more edible ones from the frozen section of a grocery store. My family member wanted a to go order and I didn't even bother as the food was horrible and I didn't feel like wasting another 30 minutes waiting for his order. I recommend the CB in Bellville over this one any day. Upon first glance I thought it would be a nice place to be a server since they were busy but after my experience I would never work here as I am sure the servers tips were affected by the kitchen. I ordered the breakfast potato app and it was definitely not worth 8$ I will not be back to this location and recommend R diner...

Took my family here for early Valentine's dinner. I am easy to get along with and always tip extremely well. Our waitress took our orders , everything seemed OK. Then 4 out of 9 of our family member were brought their food.We were assured the rest was on it's way.35 minutes later, the rest of us still had no food. We came to eat together,that was the whole point as life is busy and this is a rate treat to have dinner with all my kids and grandkids. Time going by, still no food.The other's have now eaten, and we sit there waiting. By this time, my daughter has to be at work.So we ask them to bag the food they never brought up to go...we never got to eat with the others. 15 mote minutes go by, still no food.Afyer already nicely speaking to the manager, I was met with rude looks and rude answers as to why we still have no food. Finally, we are ready to leave because this was the worst experience ever.Nobody was coming to our table at all.Finally, our waitress comes up to our table, slams the dinners for those of us who never got eat down on the table,utters a cuss word.Never even looked at us or apologized for her mistakes. Get to the counter to pay ,the manager took 20 bucks off the bill and was still so rude. Only to find out the meals we were forced to take to go had raw chicken in them. I left tears with no apologies. I am disabled and was disrespected so bad.I never raised my voice, but did speak up.So they were fully aware of how truly horrible this dining experience was Cracker barrel was always one of my favorites, but I will never eat here again. This is how they treat disabled people and their precious families! I was stunned at the blatant disrespect.
