Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Frenchtown Charter Township

I'm giving this place 3 stars because the food is good and it definitely beats the long wait the Taylor Popeyes has. The food is the only reason I return. The last 3 times I've gone there, the same rude lady is running the register. I don't know what her problem is, but two times I went, she continuously cut me off to ask me how I wanted my meal before I could even finish saying it. I understand most people may not specify but she shouldn't cut you off to ask. Today when I went in I said I'd like a large meal and specified what I wanted, and she handed me small drink cups and when I told her I asked for large she tells me "Well these are the drinks that come with the combo, its an upcharge to give you large" when id literally asked for large meal maybe that's not the same thing but you'd think it would be right? Idk I hate the customer service she personally gives and she's always the one everyone talks to, to represent the place. The guy who hands me my food has always been really nice with a nice attitude, she's the only reason I give this place 3 stars. She doesn't wear a name tag so I couldn't tell you her name sadly. Management needs to find a better position for her or she needs to find a new job if she hates her...

The most ridiculous trip I’ve ever had for food, waited a grand total of 25 minutes and I was the second person inside when I showed up, they gave my girlfriend and my food to TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE that came in 10 minutes AFTER us, then tell us they’re out of what we had ordered and to pick something else! Waited another 15 minutes for a CHICKEN SANDWICH AND 3 PIECE TENDER, just to watch them knock the food on the ground and KICK THE SANDWICH AROUND MAKING OTHER ORDERS, at the point they had gave our food away I stood at the counter waiting, assuming that since we waited 25 minutes our food it might come out next and saw them knock it on the ground after saying it was our food. Not to mention the two girls handling the food up front would rub their nose, grab at private areas then touch the food with no gloves! I wouldn’t go back if Popeyes paid me to. I pretty much never leave reviews even for corny stuff like this but that’s flat out stupid. I’ve worked kitchen service and they were NOT busy, maybe 5 people at counter and an online order. I purchased a 12 piece family meal and a few extras yesterday for $52.01. They shorted me one chicken breast. When I got home, I called the Popeyes location. The manager said, "Did you get 12 pieces of chicken?" and I said "No, I got only 11, I was shorted a breast and that is why I am calling." This manager was insinuating that if they were out of breast, a wing would suffice. NO IT DOES NOT SUFFICE! Would they charge me the same price for a breast as a wing? I DON'T THINK SO! These people are either super lazy, apathetic or corrupt. This is the worst Popeyes that I have ever been to. Popeyes has great chicken! This place is a disaster and someone from Popeyes corporate should pay an "un-announced" visit to see what is going on down here in Monroe.
