An amazing community college that cares greatly for their students! The atmosphere is beautiful filling the campus with lush greenery and exotic bird calls. This college provides everything for the student such as a gym, cafeteria, and soon to be college dorms. The financial aid office works tirelessly to get the most for the student. I have been to multiple colleges and universities and Galveston College is by far the best one. I will recommend this college to my closest friends and family!

Galveston College offers so many opportunities for its students. All of the professors really get to know their students and want them to do well. The campus is smaller, which I really like because it feels like home. Galveston College offers a quality education at an affordable price. In addition, the support from the community in the form of the Universal Access scholarship is phenomenal. Highly recommend!

If you have a chance to choose any other college, please do. I have graduated college (not this one I just attended here) and I can tell you that one of the most important aspects of any college you choose is the support you get when you graduate.

Trying to get transcripts from this place is unnecessarily difficult. Most colleges have an online ordering system or contract a third party that allows online ordering and expedited shipping. This place does all by snail mail and it seems an easier task to steal the socks off the presidents feet than get transcripts from this place. That’s really going to matter for any of you that ever intend on working any kind of government jobs, jobs with clearance requirements, or pursuing graduate studies where copies of transcripts from every institution attended would...

I went to this college in 2001, and I loved it. Stayed there all day on weekdays going to classes from 8am to 5 or 6 pm, studying in the library in-between classes and going to the onsite gym at night, not going home until 9pm or so. I ate lunch at the cafeteria there and brought a second lunch in a bag that I had for my dinner later. To spend that much time at one location and still enjoy it so much really says something. I have great memories of that library and that gym. And of the history, calculus, art, and speech classes. Eventually got my AA in general studies there before moving on to UT Austin. Perfect place for me to start my college experience before actually moving out on my own. Highly recommended for young people with an academic mindset who are not quite ready for a big...

well,if u want the lowest grades and just self study and, u can choose here. unorganized school, even u should paid for tutoring, bc they dont hav a budget.they will charge u for every s##t.the health sciences program are the worse in the area with lowest passing rate.the professors are the difficult ppl to deal with. they teach 100pgs in 1hrs ,so u should study on your own, plzzzzz dont wast your time and your money.we are struggling to pass our classes.I know the rad-tech,n-med or radiation -trpy are the worse instructor, heavy material without even tutoring, we have just 2 professors for the program, they dnt know how to teach, dnt have a knowledge even about the material that they are teaching...just plzzz think first before applying for...
