The beds are great....the customer service is less than quality especially for amount you are spending on one of their beds. The first representative was overly zealous. We asked her at minimum three times to give us a couple minutes to discuss what we wanted to do. She literally gave us about a minute and was right back ...she followed us outside to our vehicle when I had stepped out to make a call. Then she told us (assumingly because we had not made up our mind yet) that if someone else came in she would have to work with them...uuuhh thanks for the heads up (which was unnecessary). I finally just told my husband to do what was needed so we could leave. ( This is the short version) My husband and I very disappointed in the customer service. I called and spoke with the manager and thought that would be the end of it. That was not the case....when he went to return to sheets that we felt were forced on us to buy...he was greeted with an argumentative customer service representative who wanted to complain to him about me calling the manager. (Again this is the short version) I then reached out to corporate for help and was pleasantly surprised at the customer service at this level. I was apologized to several times and they even went over and beyond in their quest to make up for the poor first and second impressions that we had established from the store itself. The bed was delivered and set up without incident... the deliveryman were pleasant and very professional. My wife and I purchased a king size Sleep Number bed back before the holiday and told that the delivery charge could be credited back when the next promo would be released. That was all that was said at the time of purchase. We assumed this would be something automated. It took over 30 days to get our invoice for the bed and the credit wasn't listed. Some time passed and we visited the Gastonia store for a Sleep Number pillow and brought up this credit situation. The salesperson said we would have to call the customer service 800 number, but shouldn't be an issue since she saw on our file we had already contacted them. I did this the next day only to be rejected and told how the promo match should've been described. We were supposed do know that we had 30 days to ask for this credit. The customer service person said to get the store manager to advocate for my wife and I and recommend the refund. I sent an email to Robert, the store manager, and never heard back. I called to follow up and he said he was basically powerless but said he would ask his DM. Robert also apologized for his store for not communicating the promo policy. Robert sent me an email stating that the DM said for me to call customer service. I called customer service and was involved with a very understanding rep but once escalated to her boss was denied again for the "outside of 30 days" policy. What a...

Ok this is my experience & I realize these types of matresses are NOT for Everyone! Well let me say Jose/Joseph was great but I bought a really expensive air mattress!!! The store reps will ALWAYS direct you to “customer service”!!! . I first purchased the M7 but when we got it delivered it was awful!!! Hard & thin, so I paid $3,500 for something very uncomfortable! I called 1st CSR & he said I needed to pay $1,500 more to change/ upgrade to the ILE mattress! What the hell!
Also if you return the first mattress/cancel your purchase, you will pay lose the $500 delivery fee!!
I spent ALOT OF TIME going to one mattress store & back to sleep number, well after the 4th call to CSR, I spoke to Dawn & she brought down extra from $1,500 to $900, husband says why open new credit stay with current company!!! Big mistake!! I ordered the ILE more plush, thicker lol. The first night we lay down & mattress flips up to at our feet!!
In my opinion the mattress in store is nowhere near what you actually get delivered!!
I have now sold the mattress to my sister for a 1/3 of what I will have to pay!!! And bought the right mattesss for me & husband for several hundred dollars less than...
