My husband and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and what a better way to show your spouse you love them by going on a fishing trip for a few days...LOL.||With the virus still present in all our lives, i didn't want to fly somewhere. My husband loves the Grand Coulee Dam area so I did my research and came across this adorbs Motel. We needed a smaller room, since it was just the two of us. But very happy with the presentation and cleanliness of the room. I think the binder with all the great places to eat, dine, shop was a personal touch. ||We had a hiccup w/the TV (the cable box would shut off, when you hit the power button for the TV) so this lovely lady came to our room and got us all fixed up. Not that we watch TV on vacay, but did want to see the news/weather report. This place is very quaint, all the staff is very friendly and other guests seem very happy and friendly as well. Our bed was so comfy. I usually don't sleep good on vacation, but slept like a log our 3 nights there.||My only complaint and this is outside of the hotels hands is, i chose a room on a main street apparently (not like its super busy traffic, but there was traffic) and yes there's some speeding cars that are loud or the usual macho guy revving of engines that would wake you up at times. but there are 3 parking spaces for those 3 rooms on the main street. Our last night there, the person who parked in front of me apparently backed into my car and hooked my license plate and frame...needless to say, they bent the crap out of it and put a nice scratch/dent on my Toyota FJ. I take pictures of my vehicle every night wherever i stay for things likes this, just so i have a date/time stamp or proof. (I work in the insurance industry) I'm not mad, as accidents happen, but i would've appreciated that person maybe knocking on the 2 other motel doors to see who's car they damaged or at least told someone in the office what they did. I wouldn't of freaked out, but I'm a pretty patient nice person and would've just liked an apology. Not like i drive a fancy vehicle, but i do take good care of my possessions and need to get this fixed now. My husband ended up taking the license plate frame off my vehicle cause when "said" person backed into my front bumper they must have hooked their license plate or hitch, as the cool metal license plate frame i had custom made, was sticking straight out on the lower half, pulled my actual license plate away from my vehicle AND bent a corner so it was sticking straight out. It looked ridiculous, so we just took it off, then bent my license plate back to normal so i didn't look like a total dork driving down the road.||I will stay here again, but not in room #22 in front of the hotel. To the person who backed into my car and caused damage to my vehicle (dent/Paint/license plate & frame)...

My kids and I wanted an affordable room so that we could visit my husband while he was firefighting in the area and this place was fantastic. Helpful and friendly staff. A clean 2 bedroom with flat screen TV, fridge, and microwave is what we got. Extra bonus was the beautiful propane BBQs they have set up for guests to use and patio furniture. We ended up having a BBQ for my husband's fire crew which they greatly appreciated being able to do. I forgot the remote to my kids fire tv stick in the room and the friendly front desk lady called me an hour later and arranged to mail it back to me. We don't have a boat, but I noticed the parking lot is equipped with extra long spaces for boat trailers which is nice to know. Having never been to the area and only there to see my husband, I'd say that I'm interested in coming back to stay for a vacation in the future. The area is beautiful and the Grand Center Lodge is fabulous. Thanks for the great stay! *I'm editing my review because despite charging my credit card to send me my remote control for my firetv stick, it has not been sent to me. The first attempt they said it got sent back to them because they left off our apartment number on the address. The second time it just never showed up and when I called to ask about this time they were rude to me. How dare I ask for my property back 🙄 Hospitality doesn't end when the guest leaves. We were considering coming back for a visit to the area and are now going to reconsider...

Such a nice stay....the rooms have been renovated since some of the previous reviews because for the amount of history behind this lovely little place it is comfortable and very clean. Some of the friendliest staff I've had the pleasure to meet in my travels. Free brkfst...bagels dry cereal, oatmeal. I liked the coffee & fresh cold cream in the fridge. Very reasonably priced. But between you & me y'all.....the thing that will keep me coming back...and recommending it to all my friends.....FANTASTIC customer service from a staff who clearly love what they do. I arrived & asked for a room several hours before the usual check-in time of 2 pm. I was alone so only needed one bed....but there wouldn't be one of THOSE rooms ready for 2 to 3 hrs. She gave me a room with teo queen beds for the price of a single and let me check in on the spot. Even asked if I had AAA or AARP, Etc. in case she could give me even MORE of a discount??!!?? What?? A Hotel/Motel that actuall WANTS you to get the best deal possible?? Color me delighted!! There's even a bit of the history of ALL the motels on that street back to the families who started them many years ago. Loved it!! They have a satisfied...

The room was clean and met our needs. We were in town to visit some family and stayed here as it was more reasonably priced than some of the other motels in the area. The rooms were small but the bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was great for us as we ate in the room. The air conditioner was very loud but it cooled the room down well. The wifi worked well. The front desk staff were nice at breakfast. I appreciated the price quote included all taxes. So there were no surprises at checkout.

The lodge was wonderful. Nice room, nice staff. Their "continental breakfast" was super wimpy but better than nothing I guess. We really only needed a bed to sleep in for the night and it was good for that. We had parking and cable. The front desk suggested we attend the light show at the dam which we did and it was awesome so I thank them for that. We also were able to go to breakfast right down the street. Totally affordable price for a last minute reservation.

Stayed here on a recent motorcycle trip. Yes the place is older but well maintained. The staff is pleasant, helpful and friendly. There is a fairly decent selection of snacks and souvenirs in the lobby. They even reserved parking for my motorcycle near the room. I was there on a Monday night, the only thing bad about that is all but one restaurant in town is closed on Monday's. I will stay here again but never on a Monday, if I can help it ;-)
