Trail West Motel — Hotel in Grand Coulee

Excellent stay! Clean, comfortable bed, new AC, affordable, with a caring and hard working family owned team. They ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. It is not a 5 star hotel but it is one of the best motels we’ve stayed at, with 5 star service as a bonus.

I was concerned about hot water from a different review. But we had very hot water.

Prime location to Safeway, bars, restaurants (closing times match small town), coffee.

Easy parking for boat / trailer

I was exploring the area for Summer Camp this year, and took a chance on Trail West. The reviews from the last 2 years are accurate: it’s been updated on the inside and the hosts are quite hospitable. I’m glad we stayed here to support good people making an effort. The outside is rugged—even rough in some places—but the inside is nice and welcoming. That’s the part that matters! My four boys are 8 and under, and we were comfortable. I didn’t fear they’d ruin anything, and i wasn’t afraid for their safety. Seems like most people staying here are fishermen, and they seem to go the extra mile to accommodate them. The remodeling has been completed. The rooms are very clean. The linens are fresh. The furnishings are in great shape. The motel is in easy walking distance to a Safeway. The parking lot has lots of room especially if you're pulling a trailer. The room rates are a bargain. There is an outside swimming pool that is well cared for and clean. It does require parent supervision. Discounts are given for seniors, veterans and other groups. I would highly recommend this...
