Little confused on all the 5🌟 reviews..first it took us 30 mins past 3 pm to check into our room..they were still cleaning..I suppose help is short or Management doesn't hire enough cleaners.🤷🏽‍♀️ Front desk guy is super nice though. Upon entering our room I noticed the room divider curtain was missing and we actually use this curtain because I am a early riser unlike my husband. We had already waited for our room so we weren't about to wait longer for a different room. Also there were no silverware/utinsels in the drawer and none in the dishwasher. My husband had to go to the front desk to ask for silverware..Not a big deal just another inconvenience.. then there is this pool they have which is very small and only 4.5 ft deep.. usable if there aren't other people in the pool. Did laundry in the am...they have newer LG front loaders and they are nice! I worked out at the gym while waiting on my laundry..all of the treadmills has broken screens and not one kettle ball in sight. Didn't do breakfast because it always suck at every location . My conclusion of this hotel but this particular Home2Suites is much smaller than all the others we have stayed at..and we stay al.over the US every week..little disappointing.

Stopped by the hotel around 1:00 pm. to verify room availability and check-in time. Was told by the front desk to check in via app and room will be ready for check in at 3:00pm. Checked in via app (room 112) and went to a restaurant. Returned to hotel around 2:50 pm and was told by front desk that the room was not ready and was waiting for housekeeping to update. After waiting patiently and noticing it was after 3:00 pm, I returned to the front desk. Front desk calls housekeeping and was told that the room (selected) would not be available for a while. Front desk changed to another room on second floor. Upon entering, the room had an awful musty smell. It smelled like dogs/cats had been left unsupervised for weeks. The ceiling had water damage and the hotel had poorly attempted to camouflage the damage. After informing the front desk and showing the attached pictures, our room was changed yet again to a room on the 4th floor. The carpet throughout the hotel is seriously stained. This was the worst experience ever! This hotel should close for renovations! This is what happens when I give Hilton hotels another chance.

I stayed here for 15 days! The hotel itself is super clean and very modern. They have a gym, pool (saltwater), laundry facilities and a little market in case you get hangry!! The staff is very kind and friendly. I want to take a moment and say that Elizabeth went above and beyond to ensure my stay here was pleasant. I used to work at a hotel and the main thing is if you don't say something they can't fix it. Well she fixed it lol. Aside from that the other staff as well is very polite and friendly. Of course they have all the little things that you may forget to bring and they are pet friendly as well. Saw some real cute doggies while here. The hotel itself is pretty big and they have an office area in case you need to access the internet or print something. The location I feel is convenient, right next to I20 so you can check out what Dallas has to offer without being entirely in the city area. Also the rooms are very spacious and have a mini kitchen area for those extended stays so you can cook you up something instead of fast fooding it. Check them out if your in the area!

BE AWARE AND TAKE THIS VERY SERIOUS. We stayed at this hotel and it was ridiculous. 1st the breakfast was ridiculous and they only serve sausage sandwiches the full 3 days we was there. We booked our hotel online and the hotel they have on there is not what they actually have available anymore. So they refuse to goofed discount back or anything. Finally they said we would switch your room which was down grade but we had paid for a higher type room. We get to that room and it doesn’t have the curtain to divide the room and it look like the room hadn’t been used like that. I will say this, the rooms that they’re say have a live area and the bed room door can close, is a lie. THEY Don’t HAVE AND THEY ARE FALSE ADVERTISING LIKE THEY DO HAVE THAT ROOM. You won’t know until you go to check in and see your room. They told me someone would come talk to us or even call us. The manager or nobody came to talk to us about the issue still to this day nobody has contacted us about this. I said sir I feel y’all should honor a free night for all this inconvenience and he gone say I can promise you we will never do that. We waited on the elevator for several long minutes because it took for ever to go up and come down. Whenever we got back from somewhere it would be a line to wait to go on the elevator. We wanted to go to the hotel next door but we had already paid or money and they refuse to give it back and said even if u cancel the other nights you would have to wait awhile before it will be back in your account. So we had to tough it out. I came from out of town no extra money no nothing and I wasted money. They wouldn’t even give me the manager name. Be careful...

Let me just start with how disappointed I am in this hotel. I spoke with Sergio (manager), and Tamika and Kathy from customer service. Well it's 16 Feb 2021, and we're going thru a crisis in Texas. It's dangerously cold in many of our houses and definitely outside! I've been trying to extend my stay since the day I got here and I've been told that they can't because there computer system is not working, however they were able and still are able to check in those that register online via 3rd parties!

Kathy, from customer service hung up on me and Sergio walked away from our conversation. BTW, I was not rude, just looking for options and voicing my concern for the weather and safety of my minor and me.

I know we are all in a crisis, but this hotel should not be lying to customers and kicking us out during this dangerous weather. Kathy, over the phone told me to go to a shelter!!! And the front desk is clueless on what to do in order to help customers during a crisis. Supermarkets, restaurants and hotels that accept dogs for disabled adults are all booked. So am I supposed to go home and freeze to death with my daughter and dogs. Btw, they tell everyone who calls that they are booked yet there are many rooms with the cleaning/ sealed tape. There obviously lieng, and it's very disturbing.

I feel like they need to up their communication skills with costumers and with Corporate, and definitely nthe owner (Elizabeth, S)! Lady, if computer systems are "down", your staff needs to use paper documentation and get organized. Don't stand there saying, "I don't know, come tomorrow morning and will see"! Have a plan, these are lives of people you are...

Stayed at Home2Suites Grand Prairie Friday 12/23/22 and checked out Monday 12/26/22. Spent Christmas in DFW and stayed at this hotel, Sheraton Market Center (Dallas), Hampton Inn Fort Worth Downtown, and Hyatt TCU during my 6 Night vacation this hotel being the longest stay of 3 nights because of Christmas and the plans we had for Cowboys and Mavericks games. Home2Suites has a full fridge available, dishes, and microwave in suites. Parking is available on site for free. Breakfast was horrible while we were there and it may have been because of the holidays but Breakfast was a frozen omelette that had to be microwaved or a frozen breakfast sandwich that also had to be microwaved (no hot food) so that was very disappointing and a major reason for the 3 stars. Also another reason for 3 stars is dishes were in the dishwasher upon arriving in the room and there is a sticker on the dishwasher saying the dishes are clean but they were not. Housekeeping should put the dishes away to ensure cleanliness. There is a Walmart that is walking distance from the hotel. Hotel is located off a major freeway so there is some noise/traffic that can be heard. Last reason for my 3 stars is because I paid via Expedia and I wasn't offered the opportunity to link my Hilton Honors account (Im silver at this time) to my reservation but once I stayed at Hampton Inn FW downtown I was offered that option so now that I know that is available and can be done really disappointed that mentioning if I'm a Hilton Honors wasn't mentioned during my stay at this Home2Suites. I've stayed at Home2Suites before and have had way better overall...
