Ocean House II — Hotel in Gulf Shores

My family stayed at Ocean House 1503, Gulf Shores, AL in June 2024. This condo was horrible. The air did not work correctly, HVAC guy came at midnight the day we checked in and stated the unit on roof needed freon. The humidity in condo was at 92% and 80 degrees. The air continued to not work properly throughout our stay. Our clothes were wet, the floors were wet and there was a terrible odor all due to humidity. We tried to set the temp to 71 degrees but it appeared someone else was controlling the Nest thermostat. Upon arriving home, ALL of our clothes were damp and had a horrible smell. The condo overall needed lots of work, shower rods rusted out, sliding glass door handles broke, screen broke, laying on patio. The condo was dark, not nearly the space for 5 people. We have taken many beach trips, rented many condos and this was the worst....

Current customer (2805) Spoke with someone on phone yesterday have yet to receive a call back or assistance, have electrical issues with tv, plugs, satellite, lamp not functioning and plug making an audible electrical noise with no response yet, upsetting after spending over 900 dollars on a stay but 2 days left will make the best of it the condo is nice otherwise (broken door handle lights flickering)

Edit: had someone call my wife and try to “walk her through fixing the electrical issues” unacceptable I fully recommend looking elsewhere...

GREAT location, not too crowded and just a short distance from several amenities. Very easy access to the beach, though there is but 1 elevator. Decently clean - I really liked the way the lobby smelled. Parking was great; however, there was no one in the office so you have to pay cash (to 'security') for a parking pass.
