Subway — Restaurant in Hagerstown

Ordered tonight online around 8:45pm, store closes at 9:30pm. Upon arrival at 9:10, the store is completely dark. I walk in to let them know that I am there for a pickup that stated it was ready on my app. The lady at the register was very rude, she asked my name which I provided. She then says, “oh we were going to call you, we don’t have the bread you selected.” I then said “oh okay, can you make them on another kind?” She stated “Um I guess we can”. I look around and all of the machines are off. They then began getting all of the items out, made my sandwiches while slamming things around angrily. While leaving, I politely told them to have a great night and was rudely ignored. I then approached the door and see one of the employees make a gesture as if he was going to hit me. I turned around and asked for a managers name and explained that I seen what gesture he made in the reflection of the window. They provided managements named and I stated that i would be making a phone call to speak with their...

As soon. As I walked up to the counter, Kay looked up and said, "I have a big door dash order." While processing exactly what she was trying to communicate she stated, "you are going to have to wait." Before I could respond she then said, "do you understand what I am saying?" I said, "yea, it sounds like you want me to go somewhere else". Kay said, "unless you want to wait". I waited. She made 2 subs for a door dasher and then made my food. She wasn't happy. I clearly should have listened to her and took my business elsewhere. Next time I'm on a lunch break and need to " fuel my journey", I will. Then, the food was average as expected. I hope the parent company that owns dunkin and just bought subway...

I have to acknowledge this place, the service was amazing. My SO and I stopped in and ordered and the woman helping us was very patient especially when I was reminiscing about my other great experience at another location in Ohio. She just said no no that's ok. Unfortunately because I was reminded of that experience I felt like she was a little light on the toppings I asked for. Just when I was about to get in my feelings and feel a little sad, she cut the sandwich in two and placed them in two trays without us asking. That part right there was what made the experience memorable. She was attentive and polite, ill make the 1 hour and 20 minute drive to come back for that...
