This is an awful hotel. We stayed here in order to attend a local dog show. They did NOT disclose the pet fee online before booking (just that there was one.) Had to pay an extra $80 for the weekend for 2 well behaved show dogs who literally didn't even leave extra fur in the room. They claimed they do 'deep cleaning' after a pet has stayed in a room. However, our room wasn't even well cleaned when we checked in. There was a layer of dust on everything, something sticky had been spilled on the bathroom floor. Carpet in the hallways was stained and gross. They don't have an elevator to the second floor and no carts to haul in your stuff. Shower was out of shampoo and there was only one bar of soap to use between the sink and shower. There was never anyone at the front desk to ask for extra. You could hit the 'doorbell' and MAYBE someone would show up in about 10 minutes. Between loads up to our second floor room, I accidentally left the key cards in the room. When we requested a new one we were told by the rude desk clerk that we had better not lose that one because she wouldn't give us another one! There we sketchy people hanging around on the patio by the front door smoking literally all hours of the day and night. They don't have an awning so we had to haul our stuff in during a rain storm with no protection. The beds only had two tiny (literally half the size of a standard pillow) pillows to use. There was no freezer in the fridge. 75% of the listed channels on their channel guide didn't work. Said the subscription was expired. One of the employees hit up one of the guests as he was walking out of the breakfast area for a tip for the 'chef.' The parking lot is small and doesn't have enough capacity to fit all the vehicles for the number of guests when the...
Read moreOn Sun September 13th I received very poor help and support from the front desk and an employee that looked to be possible housekeeping forcibly did a body check bump on me, refused to give me her name so when I got my phone to take a photo of her so I could get her name tag she came up to me and grabbed my phone hand and wrist and pushed it down against my body, I have severe arthritis in my hands, I'm handicapped and was in the handicapped room. I called 911 for assistance, when the front desk saw i called 911, she then called 911, at that point I was so disgusted with the way I was treated I wanted to leave. I want the hotel security footage looked at to confirm your staff made physical contact with me twice and once on my personal property while I did not touch anyone, anything, nor did I enter into the employee space at anytime, I was in the common area of the lobby by the ice machine. I have the video of the physical contact by the staff, but unfortunately this site only allows photos to...
Read moreMost disappointing stay we have had at any AmericInn. We had the whirlpool suite and when we checked in the AC wasn't running in our room. We immediately turned it on bit it took until the next morning for the whole room to get cooled down. We went swimming in the pool even though it was extremely cloudy and didn't use the whirlpool because there was sand or dirt all over the bottom. Then breakfast was a mess. The brand usually has a great complimentary breakfast. But they we're out of lots of the food - claiming their truck was delayed because of the holiday - but they had a building full of hungry people and only dried out old potatoes and cold egg pucks for their "hot breakfast" so we ate what we could. Then we realized that all the cartons of milk we're curdled despite having a good date - the hostess casually said, "Sorry, I guess they must have been left out at some point." Gross. We will continue to go to our other favorite locations for the AmericInn but this one we...
