We used Home2Suites by Hilton for our extended stay in Texas. It’s not a common name in the parts of Canada we’re from and we didn’t know what to expect. We requested for early check in as we flew in the middle of the night with two little kids and were really tired when we finally got to the hotel. Having called twice before from Canada asking for early check in, and once from the airport when we were actually told to come early, we still had to wait 1hr in the lobby as our rooms weren’t ready.

But after that first hiccup, things were better. Room was clean and spacious although a bit tired and dated. There was daily, thorough housekeeping, and not just replacing the towels. They loaded the dishwasher, made the beds, vacuumed when needed. Beds were super comfy!

We used the pool only in the later part of the day when it was quieter and usually we had the pool to ourselves. Extra towels at the pool was nice to have. There was a small laundry in the gym (washer+dryer), detergent, dryer sheets could be purchased from the lobby at $2-5. There’s other knick knacks, drinks, microwave meals, emergency meds (Tylenol, Aleve, allergy meds) available for purchase at the front.

Hot breakfast was a nice touch, although there wasn’t a lot of variety. Waffles and eggs were nice. No muffins or sweet treats. Depending on the time of the day, breakfast area was busy but we usually brought it back to our room. There was a happy hour + snacks a few times a week I can’t be sure as we didn’t participate (we’re not drinkers) but often saw a crowd in the breakfast area coming back from dinner. There was also socializing space out doors with seating to hang out or have breakfast. There were often cookies or green apples at the front and refreshing mint and Lemon water at all hours.

There was plenty of parking and we didn’t feel like it was unsafe. Walking distance to Moon Nurseries and a short driving distance to many amenities and restaurants, malls etc. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful especially Hieu Tran. Overall, good value for money and we would gladly stay...

worst staff by far

I've been in several Home2 suites and by fat this is the worst, starting with the manager Josh Aviles and the assistant general manager Hieu Tran. I had to check out and a package that it was sent to me to this hotel got delayd, (not the first time happening in a Home2 suites) and i talked with the assistant general manager Hieu Tran about the situation and he compromised to recieve the package and save it for me, because i was able to drive back and pick it up. The next day the package arrive to the hotel and the Fedex webpage showe that it was delivered and signed by A. Avialez, so i call the hotel asking for my package so i can pick it up and the manager Josh Aviles sait that he reciebed the package and signed for it, but when he checked for my name and saw my check out he "returned" to Fedex, so told him about the Fedex webpage status and he sait it was Fedex fault and he returned because thats theit "policy" and he will not help me or support me. So he didn't took the responsability when it was the hotel staff (including him) and also he signed with a different name and now i have a lost package which i might not recuperate. Besides the horrible staff and manager situation, there where another details on the hotel, the smell aisle because the AC didn´t work, the dryer didn´t work properly, so you have topay two times in order to get your clouths dry and in general its so bad, that the encurage you to rate the hotel with 5 start and they will give you a $5 gift card from...

This is currently my third night staying at this hotel. My stay overall has been pleasant and without any real issues, unt this morning. At around 2AM I called the front desk to see if I could extend my stay by one more night. The phone rang and rang and rang for quite a bit. After my third try, I finally got someone and I asked my question; however, he spoke so quickly and unintelligibly and then proceeded to hang up. I put my shoes on and walked downstairs to find the front desk empty but identified the man who had answered the phone, after asking him if he was working the front desk. I told him that I had called about the additional night and that he just hung up on me without letting me finish my questions. He was incredibly short and rude. I asked him what time his manager arrives in the morning, as I needed to communicate to him or her how rude he was and that he needs to work on his customer service skills. Again, he was very dismissive and as I started to walk away, he said that he could have me escorted off the property...to which I replied...what for? I always stay in Hilton Hotels, as I am a Hilton Honors member, and have NEVER had such abysmal customer service. I will NEVER stay here again. The individuals name is Emanuel, or at least that's...

Very nice, new and clean hotel. The rooms and beds , sheets are very clean, the service is excellent. The hotel is pretty new . They have a lot of hand sanitizer along the entrance and elevator and hallway and the staff are wearing mask. They have an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness gym and even have a washer /dryer available. They serve hot free breakfast and you even have an option to take out if you don't want to dine inside. The housekeeper and the server at the breakfast constantly cleaning the tables after each use. One other plus is the contact less check in and check out. If you have the Hilton honors application on your phone, you can reserve and even can choose the room number you want that's available. You can go straight to your room without checking in in the counter. Just use your mobile phone to check in and use the digital key on your mobile phone applications to open and close your room door. You can also use the same application to check out. That's really neat. Well definitely be coming back again next time..
