I’ve been to this place multiple times and this location multiple times for years now. Decided to go for my boyfriend’s birthday. We came and was the first ones to sit down and also ORDER. The server Pham she came around 5 minutes later after we sat down. She said Just 2? Are you guys ready to order or do you need more time. THATS VERY RUDE AND NOT HOW YOU GREET CUSTOMERS. what are you a fast food restaurant???? First of all you’re suppose to greet how are you and then introduce yourself and that you’ll be taking care of us/be our server. BUT NO JUST 2???! The food took about 15 minutes to come. One garlic rice bowl was bought out but NOT for US but for the table right next to us EVEN THO WE ORDERED FIRST AND EVEN CAME FIRST SO WE HAD TO ORDER FIRST CAUSE WE WERE THERE FIRST. I had knew she messed up. Then it took about 10 or so minutes and our food came out. All the meat came out but only 1 bowl of garlic rice. She did said the kitchen is making it so 2 more minutes. 40 minutes PASS BY NOT ONE SINGLE GARLIC RICE FOR US. FOR 40 MINUTES WE SAT AND WATCHED EVERYONE ELSE ATE AND ENJOY THEIR DINNERS. LIKE HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR 1 FRIED RICE. if you had known you forgot about the order why not make it a urgent order. When the rice was brought out it was actually by the guy that walked us to our table when we first came in. He apologized and said I’m sorry and I know how long you guys been waiting for. EVEN HE APOLOGIZED he wasn’t even our server. Only walked us to our table. It’s because he saw and knew that we weren’t eating when all the meat was out and cooked already and we were waiting over 40 minutes FOR 1 GARLIC RICE. We like to eat the rice and meat together so since his rice hasn’t came out I didn’t want to eat and just let him watch. SHE COMPLETELY RUINED IT AND ON HIS BIRTHDAY TOO. AND SHE NEVER APOLOGIZED AND ONLY said “kitchen 2 more minutes”. She just blamed the kitchen no girl that was you. WE SAT AND WATCHED THE TABLE THAT CAME AFTER WE ORDERED GOT ALL THEIR FOODS. LIKE THATS VERY SAD. we ordered by the meat and not happy hour. We also got drinks so that’s extra money on top I don’t know why Pham she decided to prioritize the “white” people next to us. GIRL WE ARE THE SAME RACE LIKE WHAT. EVEN THE BUSSER SMILED PICKING UP OUR EMPTY DISHES and Pham she can’t even PROPER be a SERVER. SHE NEVER APOLOGIZED, TOOK 30-40 MINUTES FOR A 1 FRIED RICE TO COME OUT. We cooked all our meat thinking it’s just 2 minutes. NO IT WASNT ALL THE COOKED MEAT THE HOT BOWL RICE WENT COLD WAITING FOR 1 MORE RICE BOWL. we had cooked all of the meat and the rice and meat ALREADY and it was so cold when the last bowl of rice came out. This is the most sad experience ever. And so unbelievable. We sat for 40 minutes watching others eat while we were there...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say, it was a truly fantastic experience. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a memorable evening. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by Tai, our server.

Tai was absolutely awesome in every sense of the word. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive, as they effortlessly guided us through the array of delicious options, taking note of our preferences and dietary restrictions. They recommended some outstanding dishes that perfectly matched our tastes, and each dish exceeded our expectations.

Not only was Tai attentive and efficient, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and our needs were promptly attended to, but their friendly and engaging personality truly elevated the dining experience. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and their genuine passion for their work shone through in every interaction.

The food itself was outstanding, with a wide range of flavors and exquisite presentation. Each dish was expertly crafted, and it was evident that the kitchen staff takes great pride in their culinary creations. From the appetizers to the main course, and even the dessert, every bite was a delight to the senses.

Tai's attentiveness continued throughout the meal, checking in to ensure we were enjoying our food and answering any questions we had. Their professionalism and warm demeanor left a lasting impression on me and my dining companions, making the overall experience truly remarkable.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The combination of delectable cuisine and exceptional service, led by the amazing Tai, is something that should not be missed. I will definitely be returning in the future and look forward to experiencing more of what this restaurant has to offer.

Thank you, Tai, for making our evening truly awesome. Your dedication to providing top-notch service is commendable, and it is clear that you are an invaluable asset to this...

I like to check out spots around work when I can and decided on Gyu-Kaku today. I frequent korean barbecue places but wanted to try Japanese barbecue for the first time today.

Vina was a great server to have! She explained to me the different menus as well as some popular options. She recommended a lychee tea to me, which was great. Not too sweet, nor watery.

She took time to explain to me some of the different meat options as well as their respective marinades. I went with three different meats. I didnt write down which I tried but they were great. I decided on a regular beef and regular pork option as well as one premium beef option. The difference in quality between the two was noticeable and I HIGHLY recommend going for the premium meats. That's not to say the regular options were bad, they definitely were not and still amazing in my opinion. Also went ahead and got the garlic rice as part of my lunch special order (3 meats, a soup, salad, and rice). At first i wasn't too big on the garlic rice but as it sat in the heated bowl, it got crispy and crunchy and it honestly got better and better as I continued eating through my meats. Miso was good, salad was very good. Not sure what the sauce is they use but its great! Very flavorful. Might be too sweet for some. But i found the tomatoes, cabage, and the rest of the green evened it out nicely.

Will definitelt be back! My total before tip was about $30. Not necessarily cheap, but I wasnt trying to save money. Upcharge for the garlic rice and premium meat option which I am fine with. Next time I might just get the 2 meat option, was more than enough food for me and I usually eat a lot. I was told the meats come in about 3.5oz servings. That felt about right. 10.5 oz of good meat is a lot on top of rice, salad, and miso! Definitely worth the...

I had mentioned to my best friend that I wanted to go to a restaurant where you cook your own food and she listened! She made reservations for my birthday. Her daughters and I visited on a Monday around noon. There was nobody at the entrance greeting you, but after a few minutes a friendly face appeared and sat us in a booth. The restaurant is a bit on the darker side and I am curious as to who was in control of the Aux cable because some of the songs were questionable...R. Kelly signing about bumping and grinding while you're grilling your meat? Lol. There were several people having lunch, but that didn't slow down the service. It was my first time, but luckily my best friend had visited before, so she was the expert. I let her order for us so I am not sure which meal she ordered, but it was more than enough! Some of the meats we ate were New York Steak Garlic, Premium Sirloin Tare, Angus Beef Rib Tare, Filet Mignon, Umakara Ribeye, Pork Belly Shio, and Chicken Breast Basil. We had garlic mushrooms, white rice, corn, vegetable spring rolls (fried), miso soup, spicy cucumber, gyu-sushi, shishito peppers, calamari, gyu-kaku salad, sukiyaki fried rice and s'mores! The meats are marinated, but there are sauces available on the table for you to add for extra flavor. The food is constantly coming out so it can get a little overwhelming. Your server does explain the cook times for the meats, but to be honest, by the time you start cooking you forget what they said about the next meat, so use your common sense when cooking! I really like that the grill is changed throughout your cooking experience. Everything was delicious and there are other items on the menu that we look forward to trying. Couples date night coming soon!

Late night dinner at 10:30 PM on a Saturday night. Oh what an experience!!!! Our waitress was amazing!!!! Hustling to care for other customers as well as us. Explained the menu, pretty fast, but detailed. We ordered the cheese rangoon as appetizers and they were soooooooo goooooooood!!!! Fried chicken was also On point. We ordered the Meat Lovers for two people, which could probably feed three!!!! My wife also ordered the noodles. The noodles, were fresh, and so tasty!!! Not going to go into the meats that come with the Meat Lovers, I want you to try it and judge for yourself. You should know that the sauces that are provided at tableside, will almost never be needed. The meats are marinated or seasoned to perfection. The server, when delivering the meats tells you what are the perfect time frames to cook the meat. As a chef in your own house, you will appreciate how the meats are cut and seasoned. You can wash it down with your choice of beverages from soft drinks to beer. We chose a coke and water. Overall, last minute dinner, my wife was super impressed and loved the food. Oh, and they were playing House Music, epic vibe!!! I took more videos than pics. When I come back, definitely bringing my gang to try this place out. Deliciosos!!!!! You can thank me later when you drop by and pay a visit.
