Beware Of This Hotels Employees..... The guy that runs the front desk, I think his name is Courtney. He's the worst I've ever seen. He questioned me on why i was staying at the hotel and what brought me to town. Like i was some kind of criminal or up to something illegal. He was very rude and told me the total was $158.00. When i booked on the Hilton app for $100.00. I said i don't think so and he ran my card anyway after i told him to wait. He kept saying it was for incidentals and wouldn't explain what that was. I eventually found out what it was from another person who was staying in the hotel that overheard or conversation. This person said, "I had the same issue with the same employee when i checked in." Finally i got fed up with his attitude so i just accepted whatever happened and went to my room. This guy needs a demotion. He has no business working with people. Other than that the hotel was in good shape. It's updated, comfortable beds, clean rooms, and decent breakfast. I would stay here again so long as i don't have to deal with that employee again.

Reserved the room based on the generically enhanced photos shared on the booking site. Got to the hotel itself and did receive friendly service from the receptionist (although the lobby and first floor smelled like mildewed bleach)... and that is where the good things ended. Got to the room only to find that it was smaller than depicted and that there were other things wrong with the hotel/room itself (as follows): The left elevator acted like it was about ready to fall when we stepped into it, there was a gap under the front door that was wide enough for anyone to look under, the vent in the bathroom, lamp shade, computer desk, AND even the fire alarm were ALL covered in dust, the tissue was poked back in the box in the bathroom, the ironing board was damaged, there was chipped/peeling paint on the ceiling corner of the bathroom, and we didn't even get full sized pillows(!). Needless to say, we immediately checked out and would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Run away as fast as you can from this place. A/C was out and when asked when it would be replaced. Staff indicated the owner does not want to spend any money to fix anything or make improvements. I didn’t have the choice to change hotels and from the way people were talking about their rooms, all the rooms were in the same state of neglect. Black mold growing on the ceiling, looks as if it had been painted over one before: Room above looks like has flooded into room Slow draining shower Looks like a large dog as peed on the wall here Blinds do not go up : Water on carpet either coming from the room above or leaking from under the bath into the room Hilton corporate has not resolved this issue to my satisfaction and I’m seriously questioning why I continue to use their program

My wife and I were down in Houston for a week to visit my daughter. We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn very much. The staff was excellent and very friendly. One of the manager's named David took very good care of us. The Continental Breakfast was especially nice as those kinds of breakfasts go. It was very well maintained and I liked that it lasted till 20am rather than 9am like so many other hotels that provide the same type of breakfast.

My only gripe is that the owners of the Hampton Inn have allowed their facilities to become outdated which causes the hotel to underdeliver.

Our room had a substandard AC unit that you could not run the fan continuously to keep the air flowing and introduce fresh air into the room. As we all know the room windows, especially on the first floor are always sealed I suppose so people cannot sneak in additional occupants without paying so the only way to get fresh air is to run the fan unit in the AC. This also caused there to be a almost constant meldewy smell in the room as well. Now, that was possibly a maintenance issue as well because I know those units have a drain to handle condensation buildup and they typically get clogged and then yeah... the mildew issue arises. The bathroom did not have any kind of exhaust fan so when someone went number 2 everyone in the room got to enjoy it more than the person who just did it! The room had limited USB connections for phone and electronics charging and they were all Type A, rather than the new kind Type C that almost all electronics use now. The appliances were kept inside a bureau. You have to open a cabinet door to then open the refrigerator. Also the coffee maker was pushed back in the bottom level of the bureau which made it rather difficult to access to make coffee with if you wanted it. Fortunately, they did keep a coffee bar open 24hrs that was for the most part kept somewhat fresh, but if your room was a ways from the front desk it might be a clip for you to get to it and back to your room, but it was there so you could get some decent coffee if you wanted it bad enough. In addition, the pool was not heated like the The Hilton Garden Inn just down the street so that their guests can enjoy it year round. In addition, there were just some other things going on in the general construction of the building because we would sometimes get so unpleasant odors that would come from spaces near but not in our room and some noises as well. The Hampton Inn just really need to gut that Hotel and build a new modern facility. They are usually a higher end hotel and hold a reputation in the market and they have neglected this location far too long! I will say that I thing that the management and staff at the location have gone to painstaking efforts to keep the facility they have been given to work with and at everyday at the best shape, condition and cleanliness as is possible, maybe with exception of the maintenance on the AC system in our room if in fact our mildew problem was in fact a drainage issue which I in all honesty cannot be sure. It's entirely possible that it's just that the room is such an enclosed up space and the fan cannot be run by itself without the AC compressor running too, which helps dry up condensation and prevents mildew. But, as far as the rest of the facilities go the place was very well kept and maintained. I mean my hats really off to the management and staff for how well they keep that old facility presentable and functional. Hampton Inn owners just need to get it together and update that facility as soon as possible. I mean, even the bed had an old frame and maybe the mattress too that was unstable and lumpy feeling.

We visit our daughter in Houston frequently and I am torn as to whether we will stay there again. We loved the staff and such but the hotel itself was just not...

Mostly a great stay. Just a couple of concerns. |I stayed this past week. Digital check in was mostly smooth, but again, got a message to stop at the front desk. I did, and checked in and was given a hard key and then got a digital key minutes later. |No working elevator. They did email me the day prior and advised me. They stated they would try to put me on floor 1 or 2. I chose floor 3 facing away from the highway. |I was ok carrying my luggage upstairs and unpacked. |The next day, David at the front desk offered the same room on floor 1. I declined as i had already settled in. David was super nice. |Tammy at the front desk was also super nice. |I only ate breakfast on 2 days. Both were fine. The best part...really good yogurt (like Chobani or Oikos and fresh blueberries and strawberries. First time I've seen fresh fruit (other than apples and oranges) at a Hampton Inn & Suites. I had a waffle with fresh fruit and it was great. |The hotel is older. You can tell by little things...room layout, doors and doorways to rooms. Floors are newer. The tile flooring in the entrance to the bathroom was nice. |I got a studio suite which really is the exact same size room with a sofa instead of a chair. Next time, I'll just get a king room. I did like the wood closet/desk/paneling around the window. Just looks nice. But the closet was useless. No luggage rack. I put my luggage on top of the air con unit in the window. And the space between the bed and the desk was super tight. There is ambient lighting above the wood surround which is great. It was nice to leave on overnight so I could see to the bathroom without turning on other lights. |Walls and ceilings are thin and you can hear everything from people walking to adult movies playing on tvs around you. |Wifi worked well. I worked from the room everyday with no issues. |The tv is small. Compared to other Hampton Inn & Suites, the screen just seems small. |It did have a usb and hdmi port so you can hook up your laptop or an external hard drive to watch movies. The tvs have Showtime (no HBO) and basic cable channels. I watched a lot of Discovery channel. |The bed was fine, but made a creaking sound when I got in and out. Maybe the bed frame needs replacing (room 335). |Phone in my room didn't work. I could not call the front desk. Had to use chat messaging feature on the Hilton app. |Bathroom shower was great. Clean. Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash provided. Nice shower head. Hot water and ok water pressure. No drainage problems. |I did not use the pool, but thought about it. Small, but saltwater and well kept and clean. |Parking was concerning. There were guys hanging around the parking lot that maybe had no business there. The hotel does have security sitting at the entrance to the hotel watching. I parked right under my window and my car was fine. |All in all, except for a few little issues, this is a good property, close to...

🌟 If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Seriously. 🌟

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Houston I-10 West Energy Corridor and from the moment I walked in, I kept saying “OMG!” The smell alone was enough to impress me—it was fresh, clean, and gave “we actually mop and sanitize around here” vibes. Think Clorox meets calm. I instantly felt safe laying my head on those pillows knowing the room was truly clean and cared for.

The room was spotless. The bathroom? Immaculate. They even had face products that felt more like a spa than a hotel. The lighting was warm and modern. I came for my anniversary, but I’d recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful stay, whether you’re local or visiting from out of town. It felt like a hidden little oasis tucked in the city.

Now the breakfast? Listen. The waffles were fresh, the whole spread was better than I expected from a hotel at this price point. Shoutout to the front desk gentleman David who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. His energy was top-tier and made check-in smooth and pleasant.

Even though the elevator was down, I didn’t mind taking the stairs. The cleanliness and comfort made it worth it—I almost forgot I even climbed steps!

If you want a 3-star hotel with a 4 to 5-star experience, this is it. Clean, friendly, safe, and genuinely welcoming. I’ll definitely be back.

✅ Great for solo stays, anniversaries, work trips, or a staycation ✅ Super clean (like “I’m not worried about bed bugs” clean) ✅ Great staff ✅ Real breakfast ✅ Budget-friendly without feeling...
