The Greater Houston Church — Attraction in Houston

This is a great example of terrible, corrupt leadership within the church. If you like corrupt churches, this the church for you!

Things at the Houston church have gotten out of hand. The elders have become seriously power-hungry, and it looks like they’re firing anyone who doesn’t fall in line. People who’ve been let go are being forced to sign NDAs just to get their severance. This week was especially wild—they fired three people: the CFO, John Beene, and a ministry couple, Jim and Evelyn Rempel.

They tried to smooth it over with a livestream, using vague, polished language that basically told everyone not to ask questions. But two brave people actually stood up and called them out. THIS IS THE WORST CHURCH IVE EVER BEEN TO!!!! I went there to talk to Doug Wens and all he told me to do is study the bible, i spent weeks studying the bible and when i finally went back to the church they told me i had to give them my life savings and then join their cult, i went to my first Sunday service and as soon as i walked in i saw everyone dressed in white clothing. All i wanted out of this was to get closer to my lord and savior jesus christ but every time i went i got more and more uncomfortable. they all say they would pray for me but my life seems to get worse and worse the more i go there. I love this church/group of believers in Christ. Nothing that has people involved is perfect: schools, hospitals and yes, even church, but what I have noticed about this church is they don't try to hide their imperfection.
