exactly 2 months to the day, the hybrid mattress we bought, was completely sinking in to one side, when calling the store about replacement they said āsure just as long you pay the $80 delivery feeā even after they delivered the original mattress to the wrong address the first time basically making me and my boyfriend hall it across town ourselves (the delivery drivers delivered it to the billing address as it was different than The delivery address as we were moving but not transferring any mail to prevent losing any important paperwork). As me and my boyfriend discussed other options he decided to point out to me that after telling some of our friends about this fiasco he realized how sexist the store manager was and neither did I. I was the one signing all the paper work and having it in my name. The entire time we looked at all the mattresses in the store the manager just only talked to my boyfriend and addressed HIM with questions on what HE was looking for, how certain mattresses felt on HIS back, and the price range HE was looking for. Not that my boyfriends comfort and opinions donāt matter, but he obviously isnāt the only one sleeping on the mattress. The manager only acknowledged my input when he realized I was the one crossing Tās and dotting Iās and giving my card and bank information. I didnāt realize it either as when thousands of dollar price tags are thrown in my face my concern was focusing on the math and checking budgeting. Iām sure the store manager would have asked my three corgis that sleep with us every night their feelings on the mattress before mine. Next time we need a new mattress weāll just go to Sleep Shop.
UPDATE!!!! Shortly after posting my review of our experience their Customer Care reached out to me and apologized for this incident. They were very respectful and listened to my concerns and did what they could to mend the situation. I hate to be a āKarenā and blast a store and I know mistakes happen. But when Iāve already given a lot of money to a company I refuse to pay more for mistakes that were not made by us and for replacing a product that failed only after 2 months when it should be made to last years. I only asked to have the mattress replaced with out the delivery fee and they did and offered me two free tenpurpedic cloud pillows and a free mattress protector. Mattress Hub did great on correcting the issue and we finally had a goodnight sleep where we arenāt waking up all on one side squished together. Truly thankful for their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI know you are here for a review and not a story, I will try to keep it short. :) Our children were gifted a bunk bed for Christmas, now we needed twin mattresses after searching online I was temped to order cheap mattresses off of Amazon but before I placed an order I wanted to see what was in stores around us. First we stopped at the mattress firm because online they were the cheapest but the prices in store were much higher and the younger sales man didnāt seem to know a lot. After a bad experience with the mattress hub I was reluctant to head that way but I am so glad we did after we told Wayde what we needed, my price range and thoughts of ordering on Amazon he then informed me of the mattress lawsuit because of products the mattresses were made from were causing respiratory illness. In true sales man fashion he sold us a king mattress for ourselves (that we needed) to get a better deal on the kids mattresses. Wayde helped us get financed, gave us knowledge on how set up payments to get paid off without interest or other fees, made sure we had mattress protection, and took care of the delivery set up. Delivery came the next day! Since we worked the delivery was set for later in the evening they gave me a courtesy text (instead of a phone call while at work) to see if an early delivery would be okay. I had never purchased a mattress before so I was extremely nervous going into this however Wayde went above and beyond to help put me at ease and make the perfect choice for my mattress. He was knowledgeable not only about the products but also about healthy sleep habits. Having a bad back I was worried about finding a mattress with good support he not only helped me find the perfect mattress but was able to give me tips and hints on how to better my back when I sleep. I didnāt feel pressured to make a decision quickly and was able to take a little over an hour to decide. When it came time to sign the paperwork Wayde helped direct me to a finance plan as a way to pay for my mattress overtime with very little interest rate. It was all around a great experience with a very intelligent and helpful sales rep. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family looking for mattresses...
