Hog Wild Pit Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Hutchinson

I ordered mine & my husband's dinner online carryout. He ordered the double pork loaded baked potato & I ordered the #1 meal. At the bottom of each order it asks you to add special instructions if you have any. Well, I put special instructions on my husband's he just want extra extra of butter, cheese and sour cream & mine extra sauce. When I got home and my husband opened up his meal box looking all kinds of excited until he seen his food. It definitely was not what he was expecting. There was no double pork he had more baked potato then anything that went on there. He did not get his extra extra things I politely had asked for. I even marked the add ons that they give you to choose from if you wanted. So his was super dry and he was left very disappointed. Why ask for special instructions when you won't even honor them. It's like you have that below just to mess with the customers emotions. For spending almost $50 I'm disappointed. For that amount I would expect someone's order to be completely right(no matter how high or low the price is) Over all food was amazing (after I had to take a special trip to the store & get the extras that I requested when ordering & that is why I put a 3 star). The guy at the pick up counter was polite and nice, the resturant was fairly busy, inside is smaller than what I'm use to in Wichita, but it's still a nice little place. Idk if we will eat there again. I'll leave that up...

I ordered a family meal and when my step dad got back with the food and I opened it the chicken (1 lb) was much less than the brisket (1 lb). NOTICEABLY. I pulled out my kitchen scale and weighed it. It came out to 11.6 oz and the brisket came out to 15.5 oz (which is fine). I called and very kindly explained and asked if I could either come get the rest of the meat that we paid for or get a few dollars back on the card. The manager (I think Brenda was her name) started arguing with me saying she weighed it herself and she knows it weighed out perfectly on their scale. I said ma’am there’s no way unless your scale was off. She said I could come back and she would give me an ounce of meat and I said a pound is 16 oz and this is 11.6 oz. One ounce doesn’t make up for it. She got extremely defensive and said she won’t give me any money back and she GUESSES she can make up for what I am claiming to be short. At this point I hung up. I’m not trusting someone like that to tinker with my food. I was not rude at the beginning and I didn’t ask for anything for free. I just wanted what I paid for. I have NEVER been talked to like that. I was a general manager of a restaurant for 10 years. I would never speak or treat a customer the way I was just treated. I absolutely will never go back there. My ribs were great wife had a potato with bacon the bacon was cold and looked raw she asked if he could cook the bacon and he said no that this is the way we do it, so she scraped the bacon and sour cream off and I went up to get a little sour cream and he said we will have to pay for it, didn’t try to make anything right, we won’t be back I will continue to go to ROYS or Hickory Sticks, your service is horrible, we keep trying but this is the last time we like your b-b-q but the service is not good, I walk into one of the other 2 establishments and am greeted with a smile but here I am interpreting them. I never get on and leave a bad review, because you never know what someone has going on in there life that I don’t know about so I forgive and move on, but it is always the same here the...
