Upon coming into this establishment, we were not given the proper greeting that most establishments would give a guest when entering. We sat at the counter for about five minutes until I had to ask who is taking orders, knowing the waitress seen us when we came in and sat at the end of the counter. Which is normally the protocol for outgoing order, yet nobody tended to us until I said something. So that was a big disappointment for me. The establishment was extremely clean. It was nicely filled. The food was pretty good. The sad part about it is I was told butter and syrup was given to me, and yet I had to ask for the syrup, and when I got back to the room to find out that there was no butter in there, but three containers of Tzatziki sauce for the Gyro & feta omelette. I did get a slight bit of attitude from one of the servers because I requested the condiments, that was a little disappointing as well but overall the breakfast food was good, the bacon club was not trashed it. The atmosphere was nice. Hopefully if we should ever visit again? And, yes I would recommend this place because there are still quality here, I am just sharing my experience as a reviewer doesn’t mean the same will be the same for you, so yes give it a try.

Service was fantastic. Summer was an absolute delight. She visited the table regularly and was very contentious and patient with how picky the wife was. 😀 At any rate, this is the perfect “sit and read the paper” joint. Coffee flowing and a fairly sizable menu at reasonable prices. I tend to judge the quality of the food overall based on the kitchen’s beef/steak quality. To be fair, Four Seasons does not promote itself as a steak house. I have visited the restaurant two times now, and ate the Rib Eye on both occasions. The first time I was absolutely flabbergasted at the quality and preparation of the steak. I had a baked potato and salad on the side that really sealed the deal! Most recently however, it was the service of Summer that really made our visit memorable. The steak, which Summer did inquire to my satisfaction of, was not what I had expected. All I’ll contribute is that the first visit raised the bar a bit high. We shall return to Four Seasons. Wait Time (Sunday 3:30pm) - No wait 👍👍👍👍 Service- 👍👍👍👍 Quality of Food- 👍👍 (Wife enjoyed her Omelet)—some kind of egg…I think Prices-👍👍👍 ($33 I believe for 2 guests) RF (Return Factor)👍👍👍👍 (let’s get the Steak right next time🤜)

My husband and I had breakfast here on Friday morning. We were on our way elsewhere, but noticed this spot and realized neither of us had ever eaten here. I’m so happy we did! Our server has been here for 19 years and had red hair. I don’t recall her name, but she was as sweet and kind as she could be. She was patient and helpful. The menu had numerous options and the service was quick! We had fried biscuits with apple butter and they were amazing! I had a wonderful omelet with fried potatoes and onions and pancakes. It was all very delicious, but way too much food for me to eat. My husband had a skillet and he couldn’t finish his either. The coffee was also wonderful. Another thing I liked was the way the staff interacted with all the customers. They seemed to know everyone! The customers also all seemed to know one another. At one point a young lady came in and had on what one customer thought was a very cute outfit. The customer got up from her seat and started admiring the outfit the young lady started doing poses in. It was all too cute to watch. It was a nice family environment there. We will definitely go back.

We use to love coming here but this is our first time here in four years after moving out of state. We were here today to visit with my sister and her wife since we haven’t seen them in years and we thought this would be a great place to sit and visit and get a great meal.

The food is still great which is why the 2 stars, but the service was ridiculous. We went in with a party of 6. Four adults two kids. My youngest son was sitting in my lap at first and she walked over and said isn’t there more of you? If not then we will move this table back and save it. Which would have crammed us all at one circle table. I told her that my son would sit in his seat to eat. She seemed aggravated but left the tables alone. She was fast at taking drink and food order but then was no where to be found. I asked another waitress to get her for refills and she still didn’t come out until she brought the food. We told her then we needed refills all around and she said yep be right back. Never came back so I politely got her attention and she said sorry I knew I forgot something I’ll be right there. She filled my husband water and said she would be back with the rest. Again never came back. She spent 70% of the time we were there with her back turned to us laughing and socialising with other staff making it hard to get her attention. Eventually the other waitress she was talking to told her she thought we needed something so she came over and again we asked for refills and she said sure be right back. Walked to the kitchen then came right back out and started talking to someone again never brought drinks. We just gave up and decided we would leave and go to Starbucks. The waitress finally noticed us and ran over the check like we were going to run out on her. She said here is the check (she was suppose to split it but she didn’t) and said can I get you anything else. After asking so many times I said refills would have been nice. I did say it sassy because I was so upset that we had to leave because we couldn’t get service after getting food. My sister says we also need boxes. The waitress said you never asked me for refills but i can get you some do you want them here or to go? I said well I guess to go now. I told her my boys had Pepsi and sprite and I need a diet. Some comes back with one drink sits it in front of me and before walking away to get boxes says I never refilled your drinks because they weren’t completely empty. I take a sip of the one drink she brought out and put in front of me and not only was it not to go after all that it’s not diet and I’m diabetic I can’t have sugar. I assume it was my son’s refill across and at the other end of the table. The worst part of all was the petty move the waitress made next. Now mind you this lady couldn’t be found most of the time we were eating but since I upset her she made it her job to be rude. After returning back to the table with another box she went around and individually asked each person at the table if they would like a refill and what they were drinking being sarcastically sweet in her tone. When she got around the table to me she skipped me and went to the next person. How ridiculous is this? Well joke was on her because up until that moment if she had just brought out refills finally we were going to give her and extra $20 on top of both parties tipping, since we had wanted to sit and talk and catch up and would have been holding up a table. We always do this if we plan on staying longer than eating because we understand most of their money is made from tips. However, after acting like a toddler because we wanted refills she lost that extra money. We did tip but instead of staying and ordering some of the yummy...

Well I have I've heard nothing but good things about this nostalgic, little spot for a couple of years now and it honestly lives up to it's reputation!

So yesterday when I 1st walked in, there was a big board with hand written daily specials that brought back good old childhood memories!

It's has an old school diner atmosphere, including a cozy counter that seats about six or seven customers, where I sat while waiting for my take out dinner, along with what appeared to be two mid-aged gentlemen (regulars) who kept me pleasantly entertained the whole 20 minutes I was there!

A few wooden tables in the middle of the diner that seated about 4 and a few beautiful, original looking, heavy wood framed booths, with thick cloth seats, off to the side, in front of windows, facing Shadeland Avenue!

There was only 1 server who took all orders and was also the cashier, greeting everyone with a witty upbeat personality, never missing a beat! Surprisingly, even a cook came from the kitchen and ask if I need more water.... and served it to me!

My dinner consisted of 3 whole catfish, baked potato, and a side salad with what looked like homemade croutons, and bunches of condiments all for only $17.00 Can you believe it? Well me either!

When I got home (a few miles away on the other side of town) my food was still hot!

Fish tasted like fresh water fish, breaded, deep fried, and seasoned perfectly! yuuuuummy....potatoe still melted the butter, and the salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and croutons was cold and crisp....just the way I like it!

So much food I'm having leftovers for today's lunch....SERIOUSLY!

If I could have rated this diner with more than five stars I definitely would have!

Think I'm gonna try just about everything on their menu and become a regular too!

Oh and they serve breakfast anytime of day and closes at 11:00 p.m. go on in and try 'em I'm sure you'll be...

I just wanted to say i had one bad time at this place. I have been going here off and on for over 15 years and always had good food and service. Just this one time my service was terrible. I only order Ham & Bean Soup. I first said i wanted bean soup. She the server said bean soup or ham and bean soup. I said Ham and bean soup. I guess you have to be very precise for this server. So she brings me out the bean soup and the meal comes with corn bread. There was no corn bread. I guess since I didnt ask for it i was not suppose to get it. But she did go and get me the corn bread and butter I asked for. While looking at my so called ham and bean soup. There was not one speck of ham in the soup. Is it my fault that i might had screwed up the first thing out of my mouth by just saying bean soup. I mean on the menu it says ham and bean soup with corn bread. Like I said I didnt think i had to be so specific in ordering it. So I told her there was no ham in my so called ham and bean soup. I look at her and was surprised. She lifted both hands in the air to indicate so what. What do you want me to do now. So with that attituded I told her to remove all of my food from the table that I was not going to eat there. She picked up the bowl of bean soup and left the corn bread there with the butter. I know this is a long story but Four Seasons needs to git rid of this server. It is going to be a very long time until i get back there. Plus my lady friend with me told me her french fries...
