We reserved two rooms over seven months in advance. When we arrived, the reservation was disregarded, and we were handed, after having to plead our case, what felt like leftover rooms. One was “under maintenance” — and it showed. Across the rooms (on the 1st and 4th floors), we found: – Filthy flooring – Loose electrical outlets – Flickering strobe-like lights – A bathroom door that didn’t even fit its frame – A general lack of cleaning and basic upkeep While the TV and fridge were newer, they were just surface-level distractions. These rooms weren’t ready for guests — full stop. The only positive: the staff. They were professional and polite, doing the best they could under impossible conditions. The problem is not the employees — it’s the ownership and management. We left early — and not only did they not refund, they are trying to add another charge, bringing the total above what we paid for a much better hotel elsewhere. I don't understand people saying how the rooms are clean, and the reviews on here are why this location was ultimately chosen and we will never make that mistake again. Once again I want to stress the staff wasn't to blame for most of these problems. They appear to have a fraction of the people needed to operate a hotel of this size. Based off the experience of us between 3 rooms... This hotel should not be open to the public in its current condition.

This location definitely needs some attention. The service was fine, staff were very helpful and friendly, but the upkeep of this place needs major improvements. The condition of the room was so bad, I don’t know where to begin. Couldn’t use the TV because the remote did not work completely. Had to turn the TV on via the main power button on the actual TV. The remote control would not control the volume, and it was set at a very loud level. So you couldn’t actually watch the TV without bothering everyone else. The outside of all the appliances were very dirty, however, the inside of the appliances were very clean. One of the outlets in the room was just hanging out of the wall. The nightstand was missing a drawer. The TV stand drawer was missing a pull. The blinds were very broken. The window didn’t fit in the frame properly. The main door didn’t fit in the frame properly and I had to use some force to open or close that door. The floors were filthy. The towels and sheets had stains on them. I think it’s important to mention that the outside of the building was beautiful, including the landscaping. I just wish they would put as much effort into maintaining the rooms as they do the outside. I’m going to post some photos so that you can see for yourself.

I left 4 days earlier then what I paid for because a couple kept fighting and blasting music to 4am. They refunded me 9 dollars. I contacted my bank and disputed to get my money back. There is a place in Plainfield called WhiteHouse motel with rooms built the same way but super clean and not rundown. They charge the same price and its very clean and not run down and dirty. 7. The fire alarms get set off in the middle of the night, day, all the times and can't be turn off unless fire department comes. Good luck!

I booked a room at your facility for my terminally ill brother at your facility who was between homes at the time and had the worst service experience ever! First when we checked in the counter drawers where not even in the counter. I had to put them in myself. Under the counter was dirty and the room looked nothing like the pictures advertised. It was more like a homeless shelter. My brother didnt compain as he wqs just happy to have somewhere warm that he could take care of himself until his houseing became available. I booked and paid for an 8 day stay and on the 5th night in they came to his room to put him out stating his reservation was over. I had to call the hotel several times to even get a representative to only be told by the general manager that they made a mistake. Stress worsens my brother's condition. After his stay was over they proceeded days after to charge my credit card. No call to inform me as to why, no authorization from me or anything. I proceeded to go up to the hotel and spoke with Amanda who by the way had a no more than 5 month old baby behind the counter with her that she wheeled into a laundry room and left there unattended while she serviced the guests. She proceeded to tell me she didn't know why they charged my card but the general manager did it. Now another reservation was made for my brother under a different card and name and instead of them charging the correct card they illegally went back and charged my card from my previous reservation that was in a totally different name. And furthermore yet again prematurely threatened to put my brother out but this time they came up with a reason and stated someone had smoked in the room. Though we have on recording the general manager stating that he went in the room and there was no smoke smell multiple times on the recording. When I shared with the ladies my issue with my credit card both Debby and Amanda stated that this should not have happened as someone else paid for the next room but there was nothing they could do because the general manager Calvin did this and I'd have to talk to him. This property illegally took my money and in addition to that are trying to find reasons to kick people out of their hotel and keep their funds. This is wrong and needs to be stopped immediately. They also are putting children in danger. Why would you allow employees to keep babies in your laundry room with all of those hazardous chemicals? That is a violation of OSHA and several over regulations. Cps should also be involved because anything could have happen to that poor baby at this run down place. I will be reporting this to all agencies including the news as this company is trying to rob guests and put them out after they have paid their money and fraudulently charging additional fees to guests no longer staying at the hotel.

DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL. This property is disgrace to what use to be a reputable extended stay chain. I will Never stay or have anyone stay at one of these...

This was a horrible experience.. first .. the down spout for the bathtub did not work .. also.. when in the shower it did not drain so my feet would be submerged in 8 inches of water .. second I asked about swapping my towels, and I was told that they don’t swap out.. I have to wash them myself.. which was krazy .. I was staying monthly.. but paying weekly.. not only that .. I was not given all the amenities as shown.. I had one chair .. not a full set of towels.. one bathroom garbage can .. then .. today .. I got an unauthorized transaction on my account.. for 250 dollars by the Hotel .. when I paid yesterday a whole day early .. so I called and I was told it was for a smoke charge.. and I explained I don’t smoke in the room.. and the reply I got from the manager.. was that her manager was just there .. and she entered my room and saw ashes in front of the door which I’m a electrician and i explained it’s my boots not mentioned it was also winter .. then she said she went into my drawer.. and saw a ashtray with ashes in it ../ and I explained I had it from my house that caught fire while I was at work ..then she .. and said she smelled smoke .. was the reason she came in .. and it was the smell of pot .. so that’s why she came in .. and went into my drawer.. lol 😂 yeah .. but i explained that I had a house fire and all my clothes that I could salvage.. smell like smoke .. all who have had a house fire know .. but to no end .. I was told after she tried to charge my card without no notice.. I had to leave which my reply was after she got to shuffling.. from it was the ashtray.. to my reply was everything came in from my fire .. to it smelled like pot .. then to when I said I was at work and been had since before 7 am I was gone .. not there & I got the notification about 1230 .. so had I not been there for 5 1/2 hours.. so I told her it was clearly someone else.. .. because of the fact.. I was still told when I got off work i had a hour to get my things and go .. and I did so with ease .. but do you know what.. as I was packing.. it was a strong smell of Mary j then .. and the front desk attendant.. Alexis.. was walking the hall .. spraying air fresheners.. and I said .. you clearly see it was not me .. at 420 pm .. and not only .. I paid for me week a day early as I have my entire stay .. so I wolf not recommend this hotel .....

Do NOT RENT HERE. All I can say is mental health is real, & this economy is lost because WOW! Shame Shame Shame on the manager Calvin! You are a COMPLETE LIAR, and have used the exact same excuse to steal peoples money then kick them out! I thought I might of just misunderstood a ton of other situations, but now my husband and I are CLEAR this is absolutely obscured, unprofessional, neglected mental health and obsession related. And I will be absolutely pursuing this until THE MAX. I am done with services being dishonest, breaking boundaries, and having the audacity to over charge and I’m dead serious when I say you can’t get toilet paper, towels or linens even after a week, month or months! You have to buy your own to and wash your OWN LINENS, and they charge a $100 deposit! It actually happened to my family right out of my sleep. We were kicked out and I’m lost at people’s MENTAL HEALTH. I was truly warned but I figured my family stays to ourselves and barely there so we wouldn’t have any issues. As a 40 year old with grown kids I have no reasons to EVER LIE, we did NOTHING WRONG, and actually was HARRASSED multiple times and we blew it off. But this is beyond creepy and almost unexplainable! I’ve already reached corporate and so has and agency I’m affiliated with! But I honestly still am in just WoW what happened so I may edit in detail on the thousands of reasons TO NEVER RENT HERE are, but DO NOT! FOR your the complete reassurance of SAFETY, NOT GETTING YOUR MONEY OR TOLERANCE STOLEN… DO NOT! Why do I have to even give a star, should be a red FLAG! I’m seriously at a loss for words! But I will be addressing this ridiculous situation and the money and ONLY HELP we just had jerked from us! DO NOT RENT HERE! This is the craziest scenario I have ever encountered and Calvin will be held accountable! SHAME ON YOU CALVIN! I want a CORPORATE MANAGER TO CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY! And I’d advise it be before the BBB, health department, or code of conduct GETS BACK WITH ME! This is NOT RIGHT, this is NOT OKAY AND I absolutely want this addressed and taken care of as this is NOT THE FIRST, Second, nor THIRD TIME Calvin has enticed this EXACT...
