Quality of food and baked goods is solid, but we had a very negative experience with the staff and manager. They turned a small issue into a “scene.” Very bizarre.

My partner ordered the croissant bread pudding, not realizing there would be chocolate in it. The menu listed other ingredients but no mention of chocolate; she has a strong cocoa aversion. When we told the staff, we were met with an odd amount of resistance…

We were told several times it was our job to flag allergies and restrictions; no "sorry" or attempt at sympathy was provided. Normally I understand this, but no one expects chocolate to be in a croissant by default.

They went into a long explanation about how they make it and how much "everyone loves it so much" which is nice? But not the point at all...I'm bringing up an aversion/allergy.

The manager then proceeded to tell us she "does not like refunds" and made the situation very uncomfortable. Eventually they provide a refund after I kept pushing, but it was embarrassing and bizarre. I clearly was not trying to scam them given how large my ticket was.

What could have been solved in 1 minute turned into a 10 minute ordeal. I cannot believe they would pin it on the customer and try to fight over something likle this.

Writing this late (occurred a...

A MUST try place in Jackson, WY. The food is great. Period. Staff is very friendly and all practice the CDC guidelines for social distancing.

My fiancé and I actually went there on two occasions back-to-back days. That is how great the breakfast plates were.

1st day we had the breakfast burrito and the Savory Sunrise Bowl. The sunrise bowl was tasty and a very healthy option to the start of your day but the star of the show was the Breakfast burrito! The burrito was huge and let’s just say if you are planning a 5+ hour hike like we did then you should definitely get this to hold you over. Meat was delicious.

2nd day we had the Pork and Eggs Toast and French toast. A great blend of savory and sweet! Pork and Eggs toast was a big mountain of food but it was absolutely delicious. The crunch of the bread in combination with the fluffy egg and tender pork definitely hit the spot. Must try. The French toast was so tasty that I wanted more when it was gone!

We will be...

A Hidden Gem in Jackson! Picnic is a charming and thoughtfully designed café that instantly makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a clean, modern interior and plenty of natural light. But the real magic is in the food — everything is fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The homemade pies and signature cinnamon rolls are unforgettable — warm, fragrant, and just the right amount of sweet. Pair them with a cup of their rich, aromatic coffee, and you’ve got the perfect start to your day or a dreamy afternoon break.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a recommendation or a smile. And the mountain views through the large windows? Just breathtaking. Picnic is the kind of place where time slows down, and you can truly savor the moment. Highly recommend for anyone...

I go here frequently for meetings with local clients & I really enjoy their coffee / teas with a French flair. Their avocado & tomato toast is a go to for me. Really yummy on multigrain bread with avocado, radish, roasted tomato, feta, & pumpkin seeds. Their cobb salad is also great, and the dried cherries make it different than others + very tasty! Their croissants are out of this world & I'm a fan you can purchase them frozen & make fresh-from-the-oven at home for personal breakfast / brunch get-togethers. The vibe inside is urban chic, & most of us locals do love this upbeat, energetic place. You'll definitely find us here! ☕

Picnic is fast, great coffee, amazing pastries, and great food! We got a kids hot chocolate, s’more’s latte, kouign-amann, and eggs + bacon and sausage. The drinks were all amazing, and the ka is one of my favorites! The bacon is salty and flavorful, if slightly overcooked, and the sausage was a let down — the casing is very chewy and the sausages weren’t very flavorful. Also, the baristas typically seem pretty stressed out, and I know it’s a stressful role, but doing it with a smile would definitely improve the customer experience.
