Tijuana Authentic Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Jackson

I was extremely disappointed with the food and service. I would avoid at all cost. The food was ok at best not authentic in the least. They were rude and over charging when it came to check out.

When we walked in there must of been maybe 2 -3 tables of people eating, yet service was extremely slow, and or sever kept forgetting our drink orders and kept ignoring us when we tried to remind her, when we finally got our food they of course forgot our food order so most of the table was eating while 2 of us were still waiting for food after 5 minutes the server finally came and asked if we were waiting for anymore food, we of course said yes and she asked if what we had ordered I’m assuming it was never placed to begin with, about 10-15 min later we finally got our food.

When it was finally came to checking out there was literally no one at the front to help with check out we probably could have walked out and they wouldn’t have even noticed, we waited over 10 min for someone to finally help us with paying She started asking us what we order even though she took our order, as she was adding the items we started noticing they were higher that what was listed in their menu, she just ignored us and kept charging us the wrong prices, when we told her again she got upset at us, and told us we were being dishonest we had to literally grab a menu and show her each item, she then was refusing to help us and instead starting helping the people behind us.

Overall this was horrible experience from start to beginning, honestly I just wish we should have gone next door...

Terrible service and wait time for a “5 minute order” is just ridiculous. My first bad experience in a restaurant in Jackson and I have been here four months. I had initially called first and a young lady asks me what I’ll order and hangs up on me when I’m saying the order. Someone else answers (male) and takes my order. I get there and the food is sitting there cold by the register. The young lady that I believe was the only one there was the person who hanged up the phone. She’s too busy talking in the dining area and not noticing me till 8 minutes later. She asks for my postal code for the card information. She says it’s declined. She tells me several different times that it’s declined. I tell her to try it again and tells me she won’t do it. Another lady tells me it’s declined. I put in my information and it works. My card had money. They just did not want provide service to me. A waste of time and not to mention the food is terrible. Crusty, oily, and cold. What was supposed to be Tacos Al pastor (disappointing). Very Poor service and by far the worst Mexican restaurant that I have experienced by far. It doesn’t even deserve to be called authentic Mexican food. Go to El Metate!! Way better food in quality and the best service I have received. If you all are going to have a cashier make sure she is there and has a professional attitude and not making the customer wait. The food here was so good! As we have visited many Mexican restaurants here in Jackson, many of them have been a disappointment. But this restaurant has been the best so far! At the beginning we didn’t expect much, but one the server brought the huge plate of chilaquiles with a big piece of steak and 2 eggs wooh! Exquisite! And I loved the Chicken Milaneza is a must try! Because it is lightly breaded and very well cooked and it is not greasy or oily as many others, look like healthy food to me. The place is very clean and neat. The lady who served our table needs to be more friendly, she looks so serious, but at the end she smiled when we complimented. One complain that we really have to bring to the GM’s attention is that when we were seating there, there were 3 employees seated there and they were drunk, 2 men and a lady, because of their conversations we noticed that they work there and they knew the older lady who was serving us. This people, specially the lady were so freaking loud and had an awful behavior when other 5 tables were eating there. They were drunk and cursing and being disruptive. That gives a very bad image...
