DO NOT GO HERE!! I was misinformed countless times and the manger is extremely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and go to ANY other tire shop in Jackson. I should have known better as there are many other, locally owned, tire shops that I have dealt with in the past that know how to communicate, be accountable, and treat customers properly. If I could give zero stars I would.
In regards to Big Os response - It is never good look to be dishonest and attempt to disparage a customer in order to make yourself look better. I was not extremely disrespectful, I did not use vulgarity, I did not belittle anyone, nor was I rude. I calmly stated “this store is ridiculous” after waiting a 1/2 hour+ before the shop opened, calling 2X, visiting the store 4X, and solely doing what Big O had told me to do to get my vehicle serviced in a timely manner (tires rotated within 2 hours), yet was still unable to achieve. Furthermore, I was not talking to any of your employees, I was talking to YOU, the manger! The manager called twice since I have written this review and he was egotistical, confrontational, and childlike. He did informed me that he was most upset (he mentioned it 2X) that I stated “this store is ridiculous” in front of other customers, and that is why he kicked me out of the shop. He also went on to tell me that the signs outside the shop are not accurate and they have a policy which they don't tell every customer about - people can drop their vehicle by 5:30pm the day before if they wish to have it serviced first. If this was a policy they informed all customers of I would not have been in this situation at all and not of had to go back to BIG O repeatedly, and therefore not be writing this review. Locally owned franchises are import to communities but a percentage of all profits still leave the valley as opposed to a place like Shervin's Auto and Tire Care (across the street). They know how to take appointments, keep them, be on time, and be do the work in a timely manner.

Read moreDon’t go here for anything but tires! They did tires for our vehicles and did fine, but we took our truck in for new front brakes and to check the front end because we were going to be pulling a cargo trailer 800 miles. They quoted us around $2,100 and then charged us over $2,600, when questioned they said it was only $75 over the quote. We left and the brakes were obviously not touched, the admitted to missing them, so we took it back for another $900 in work. While towing the trailer, we heard banging in the front end somewhere and eventually found that they didn’t properly secure the brake line clamps. Big O warranty approved it to be taken to a dealership who repaired the bent and unsecured brake lines, found the brakes were not installed properly such as the pins on one side were put in backwards without retaining clips, they found that Big O did a lot of other collateral damage to the front end in the process of the work they did, and put our family at immense risk. Big O warranty would not cover all of the costs, they said it does not cover “collateral damage” which is the responsibility of the local Big O to cover. Big O Jackson refused to cover any of the collateral damage so we were out thousands more due to their negligence. Big O in general does not require any certifications for their mechanics or techs, which is a huge safety issue. The certified mechanics who eventually repaired the truck had seen this type of thing before, but said this was the worst job ever of putting back together a front end. We tried to get this issue addressed at all level of Big O up to corporate, but they made no effort at all to make it right. We avoid Big O now.
Update: The owner is not being truthful in his response as he was many times in his 8/27/2024 email to me. His false statements concluded with this sentence. "I am not willing to do anything further than what our ABS warranty has covered. " And we have emails to prove he and corporate were provided the invoices and other...
Read moreAVOID THIS PLACE!! While traveling out west, I purchased two new tires from the Big-O Tire store in Jackson, WY and within 8 days both hubcaps on the wheels of the new tires came off, resulting in the permanent loss of one of them. I immediately contacted the Big-O store in Jackson and was told by the manager, Mark, that he "would make it right" upon my return home in Georgia. Once I got home, I called Mark who said he would find and ship me a matching hubcap. After about ten days, I had not heard anything, so I called Mark again. At this time, he said he was shipping the new hubcap via UPS the next day. Another 10 days passed and no hubcap arrived, so I again called Mark, who said he had shipped the hubcap the day after he had last talked to me. I asked him if he had the tracking number so we could track it, and he said the receipt was in the accounting department and that he would see if they could find it. Not hearing from Mark for another week, I again called, and Mark told me they could not find the tracking number. I then went to my local UPS store and told them what had happened and they checked their computer and could find no record of anything having been shipped to me in the previous month. They also told me that if Mark would go to the UPS store where he shipped the hubcap they should be able to retrieve it for him. In addition, I was told that even if Mark did not insure the hubcap, it would be automatically insured for $100 if the item was lost (Mark said he paid $100 for the hubcap). I conveyed all this information to Mark, and I never heard back from him. I guess we can all draw our own conclusions. Fortunately, after more than 2 months after returning home, the Big-O corporate office reimbursed me for the hubcap. I can only hope that they passed the...
