I'm not sure if I'll have enough room to write how awful this hotel is. This has been the absolute worst hotel experience of my life. This hotel is gross, & I'd be surprised if anything has been updated in 30 years including sheets. Our first night we were in a room where the phone was broken, no shower curtain with terrible broken sprinkler head, disgusting pilled sheets, awful pillows, no fridge or microwave, no hangers in the "closet" (not really a closet though), the heat didn't work (set to 70 & never exceeded 63), & we were provided 2 towels for a 4 person, 2 night stay (& we couldn't call for more because the phone didn't work). The front desk staff were very nice & "upgraded" us to a suite with a pullout couch that was disgusting, full of crumbs & food from previous people, stained mattress, & no sheets. There was a hole in the ceiling, & dirty bathroom, 1 tiny trashcan in the whole room & no trashcan in the bathroom. The mini fridge didn't work & stunk inside, the clocks didn't work & then sounded 3 alarms at 5am, 6am, & 6:30am that we didn't set, & the heat didn't work (set at 70, never got below 72 with the AC on & window open on the coldest day of the year-- negative windchill outside). My daughter also has a rash from the pool. As if the facility wasn't horrible enough, the front desk staff on our 2nd day/night was horrible, rude, & completely inappropriate. I'm frankly unsure how they're allowed to work in hospitality-- Theresa and Julie (worked separate shifts). When a friends family checked in, their room wasn't ready & the desk attendant proceeded to say to the mom "not my problem." She continued to yell (literally yell) at us all night about kids who weren't ours even after we told her they weren't ours. The hotel ran out of drinking water & had nothing to offer, as they refused to fill our water bottles from the bar water gun, & told me I should go to the gas station at 12am for water. After I told her I couldn't leave my children at a hotel by themselves in the middle of the night, she again yelled at me about the kids who weren't ours by saying "oh you mean the kids who ran around up here by themselves all night?" She couldn't understand that we brought 2 children, who were accounted for every time she came & yelled at us. Unsure why she thought 2 parents brought the 30+ kids who were here this weekend. After I went went to bed with my kids, my husband remained downstairs to hangout with another dad. A schizophrenic man on drugs from off the street (confirmed by the police who were called) with an unleashed Doberman dog and a knife came in, sat down by the dads, & continued to say so many disturbing things to them about how he used to work here, he had keys & codes to every room, & he was going to bring the place down because they did him wrong. The dads ended up disarming this man, since the front desk staff did absolutely nothing to help-- they didnt even call the police until the dads told them they had to. Once the police cuffed & removed the man, & the front desk woman screamed profanities at my husband because he was upset that they let that man into this hotel full of families and children at that hour, without question. My husband came back to his room, & after telling me all that happened, we went to sleep. At around 1am the police knocked on OUR door, waking our young children who then began to scream & cry because they were scared, saying that the front desk woman was "scared" that WE were here-- after my husband disarmed a dangerous man who was allowed to enter the hotel with a Doberman & a knife. They threatened to kick us with our young children out at 1am with negative degree temperatures outside & nowhere to go, when they woke us from sleeping. Thankfully, my husband knew our rights, & we were able to go back to sleep. Please, do not stay here. This hotel should be shut down immediately, in my strong opinion. It's the absolute worst possible place anyone could stay. The attached photos are from the "upgraded" room-- imagine how the first one looked. Hand on pillow...

Wow. I don’t know where to start! This has been the weirdest experience I might have ever had at at hotel! I booked this place for one night on the way to a family reunion but over spring break and was trying to find an interesting spot for the kids to enjoy- the photos show a lively atmosphere and waterfall fountain in between the glass elevators with a vintage but still cool look in the atrium and lobby. Photos from 30 years ago. Maybe 20, but no where near the current state of affairs! Ha! The outside looks like a prison- my son was scared and “ugh, I don’t like the look of this place” was his reaction as we pulled up- the front desk is tiny and had 1 dude working, who albeit nice had zero information about anything that you usually hear from the clerk( wifi, checkout, breakfast, etc) and we got our key cards and rode the elevator to the 9th floor to our room. We reserved a double room (family of 4) and open the door to find a king. So I went back down immediately (leaving my family and bags) to remedy- and no one is at the desk- a sign saying “Be back in a moment” is on the counter. I have never been to any hotel or motel where the front desk is left unattended for more than a bathroom break at the most- so I waited for a few minutes, texting my husband about the situation, who was literally sitting in a hallway with my starving kids, as it was now 8pm and the local restaurants were closing soon and we had planned to drop the bags and go eat- ten minutes pass and no dude. Then a chic walks in with a backpack and a bag of food and she says “have you been waiting long?” And I replied yes like 10 min, and she says, oh good, as in he probably will be back soon??? Anyway I said we were trying to get food, I just need to get a different room and she tells me she went 30 min to Colombia for her takeout. Then she gets on TikTok and is scrolling away, when my husband suggested I call the front desk! Brilliant! I call, and HER PHONE RINGS. She quickly hangs up , silencing the ringer. wtf. She must be involved with the front desk dude and he has the calls FORWARDED TO HER PHONE?!? I’m in the twilight zone. I text my husband this new development and tell him to call while I put my phone on the counter and walk away, reading the menu for the dinner I’m so longing for now. I see her phone light up and she hangs up on my husband’s call as well. W.t.F. She then says I’m going to go tell the bartender, will you watch my stuff? So she’s trying to sound like she’s still not involved which I know clearly that she is. Now 20 minutes have since he’s been gone, she returns to the desk and then checks around for a bell to ring—-once again, kudos to the acting skills, but I’m not falling for it. Dude comes back after 30 minutes or so, claiming he was forced into taking his lunch break by management… she’s just standing there and they pretend they don’t know each other 🤨 Finally got in the room- 2 full size beds with shedded foam in a pillowcase and an ancient semi- sufficient air handler. Whatever- we were just hungry and needed to eat before the restaurant closed! So we ate and came back- the front desk guy was once again no where in sight(!) and kids wanted to swim- so we did that-pool was fine, unless you are handicapped because the chair lift hasn’t worked since Clinton was president. we headed back to the rooms- husband was looking forward to a nice hot shower. After running the bath faucet for 5 minutes, the water was lukewarm at best- sink water got a bit warmer but in no way was the shower even remotely warm enough to enjoy. Husband shivered through his bathing routine and the rest all skipped it- So we settled in with our lumpy pillows, and woke up on and off throughout the night ,alternating between sweating and being comfortable. Didn’t eat the breakfast. Kids were checking out the fountain that was non- operational and was being used for a trash can. Probably since we had one tiny can in the room. Oof. The whole place has mad creepy vibes, like you know it was swank in the 90s but it’s a shell of its...

I originally booked online and then found out I needed to call to get the wedding party pricing since my husband was the Best Man. I called and canceled the original booking and booked 2 nights with the wedding party pricing. I got no confirmation email from the phone call but I have the old confirmation email from when I booked online originally that shows me booking for 2 nights. There were “crumbs” (idk what else to call them but I don’t know if it was from food or what it was from) in the bed. We didn’t have enough towels for everyone to shower. The shower and bath tub had soap scum on it and was not cleaned. The pull out couch bed had no linens in the room to be made up and used. There were staples lying on the carpet. There was dust collecting on the picture above the bed and in the corners and along the wall where the carpet met the wall all along the room. There was carpet falling off the wall. There was patch work that was not sanded or painted. I will say that the patch work might collect mold and mildew since it was not sealed by paint which could cause further future issues. There was mold on the lid of the ice container. We couldn’t use it. We were told at check in when and where breakfast was but not given our meal vouchers or coupons. We went to breakfast the next morning to be hounded my staff and had to go to the front desk again and still did not get the total number of vouchers or coupons needed for Noel, Ashlynn, and I. We only got 2. The toilet started backing up when no one had done anything put go no. 1. It flooded the bathroom a little and I cleaned it up with the remaining towels. We never checked out but the housekeeping supervisor came to our room saying that she didn’t expect us to be here because we were only booked for 1 night. She went down to the front desk who called the room and said the same thing which I said I booked 2 nights. Kate , my sister in law, and Hannah, her wife, went to the lobby to grab food and they overheard the staff trying to figure out how to get us out of the room because there were other guests checking in that they didn’t have rooms for and that reservations were incorrect in the system. I caught the housekeeping supervisor who said she was the most senior position at the hotel currently. The manager Amy was not answering her phone and or refusing to come in. During my conversation with the housekeeping supervisor where I was telling her the issues we have had, Susie the regional manager (maybe) called her and told the house keeping supervisor to direct me to the front desk that was already dealing with multiple irritated customers due to their bookings being incorrect or them being delayed entry to their room at check in. Luckily the house keeping supervisor let me finish talking to her and I told her I would speak with the front desk after the huge line died down. By the time I spoke to the front desk, I learned that their system was having issues. I was still not able to check out since room 433 was showing vacant. The front desk said the system automatically charged me for my stay as well. This is when I got information on more people in the chain of command to contact about my experience at the hotel. By this time, I had booked at the Courtyard by Marriot across the street and took our belongings there and checked in and had an astronomically better experience over there for our 1 night stay. I believe that sums up a lot of the issues we had over the weekend. I know others rooms were not ready at check in time and some guests had to come to our room to drop off belongings or get dressed for the rehearsal dinner. Do not book a reservation or room at this hotel. You will be sorely disappointed and disgusted. You would be spending your money more wisely booking at a Motel 8 in...
