Three Story Coffee — Restaurant in Jefferson City

I understand that it's the holidays and it makes sense to be shorter staffed and have the upper floors closed but I REALLY wanted to give 5 stars and can't because it's just too loud down here. That said, this place is awesome! The coffee was phenomenal, the aesthetic is a flawless blend of country and modern and the staff were wonderfully personable and helpful. I've had coffee in many places and this one stands out because it's not too sweet, it actually tastes like coffee, it was the PERFECT temperature for drinking immediately, and it gave the pick-me-up that I needed. My husband got the cappuccino and I got the toasted marshmallow latte. The cappuccino was wonderful and very well balanced. The toasted marshmallow latte was a great balance of sweet and bitter, with a subtle toasted flavor. Compared to my normal espresso, it's sweet but it's a wonderful drink when you want to feel indulgent. The price was also entirely reasonable, and better than the big names by a long shot. ABSOLUTELY FIRE! Y’all I never do reviews but this is a must. Please do yourself a favor and pull up to this amazing coffee shop. I’ve been going to Three Story since 2021 and even followed them from Columbia to Jeff once they moved (now a 45 minute commute for me but so worth it).

All their syrups are made in house and are absolute perfection (sweet cinnamon is my fav). The iced honey oat milk espresso latte is to die for, the iced matcha is divine, and the scones of any variety are no less than a slice of heaven.

Customer service: 12/10 staff is so friendly and personable.

Vibes: immaculate. Great music, beautiful and clean atmosphere. Doesn’t get any better.

Menu: 10/10 no notes (I’m a coffee snob so take my word for it).

Visit. Enjoy it. Repeat....

I got a Guatemala pour over, some amazing coffee right there let me tell ya (brewed in a Kalita Wave). I'm still learning more about coffee brewing and the barista was very nice we got to talk a little bit about pour over brewers. My fiance got a mocha and it was also really good! Different from the sugary sweet mochas I'm used to, this was made with single origin fancy dark chocolate and had a richer dark chocolate flavor and less sweetness. I'd go there again! I only wish there was more comfortable seating for longer visits, we were initially planning to study there for a while but opted instead to head to the library due to the place only having hard metal...
