Red Roof Inn Houston - Jersey Village — Hotel in Jersey Village

Booked a overnight stay for 2 adults online in the morning and arrived that evening around 8pm. The location was ok to get into, the GPS took us to a random ally way so just look for the sign. The guy at the front desk was really friendly and welcoming, had us checked in quickly and easily. Online the rooms looked great which was the reason for booking, I wasn't expecting luxury especially for the price but on arrival the room smelled old and stall, you could tell the room wasn't booked or cared for in a long time. The trash was full with food trash and the desk was covered in dust and stains. The bed had not sheets or covers, and we only got two stained pillows with no covering. The bed was not made and the topper and mattress had what looked like pee/sweat stains, burn holes, and hair all over it. The couch was fine but it just had a random blanket on it. The curtains were stained and hard, and the walls looked unclean and like the furniture was dragged against it at some point. For booking in the morning I would expect the room to be ready by the time we got there but it obviously wasn't so it was very disappointing. Went back to the front desk and checked out, explaining the situation and ended up staying at another hotel for the night. He was understanding and wished us a good night, but to have a no refund policy and give us a room like that is infuriating and disappointing. Will not be coming back and I hope someone dose something about the state of the rooms there, I hope their all not like...

So my other 1/2 and I booked a reservation online for a 1 bed smoking room. Price was good. The lady's behind the desk were nice However, when we arrived and got n to our room, noticed it was a non smoking room (come to find out they all are non smokin the room was not dirty but clearly someone else had been in there and left a tipped over shampoo bottle (spilled) and open soap wrapper and used soap on the counter in the bathroom. So what do I do, turn and look at the bed(it was made, but now I'm questioning). I requested to clean myself because I didn't want to wait on the house keeper + I am a house keeper at another motel. Went to take a shower and OMG the shower curtain smelled so bad the entire rr. Smelled so bad sour. I returned that and got a clean 1. Ok fine. We showered and left got back and was going to sit down at the table and realized that there was only1 chair. My husband needed to make a phone call not wanting to call with our phone , I told him to use the room phone, he said the lady's told him that our room doesn't have an active phone line. This place was the worst place ive ever stayed. The staff usead racial terms agaisnt black people. I watched a guy break down in there parking lot and they called the cops.If i didnt intervene it could have went bad for this guy.Drugs where being delt in front of staff and they looked the othere way.I was staying there and working at reliant stadium and paid for 5 days.Third day i get a call from my wife and was told she was out side room and staff got physical with her.So i flew from stadium and had to stop working with the San FRANCISCO 49 to go in to the office and tolk to staff.They called the police and then was told if i wanted my stuff out of the room i had to pay $100 plus $90 For renting a room again.Ok this was crazy.This place needs to be shut down and investigated by law enforcement and not Jersey village either. ALL I CAN SAY IS INTERNAL AFFAIRS NEEDS TO INVESTIGATE AND DEA.IM A CERTIFIED TECH FOR WEIGHTS MEASURES STATE TEXAS AND THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN ASAP.ONCE AGAIN IN YOUR OF COLOR IF YOU STAY HERE YOU COULD BE BEATEN AND FALSELY ACCUSED.IM WHITE AND FOR STEPPING IN TO DO THE RIGHT THING IT DIDNT GO...
