My family and I had not been here in years. Our server was nice and took care of us. The food was good, no issues. When we got done eating we ordered the 6 piece churros and ice cream dessert and I paid for our meal while we waited. When the dessert came out we each grabbed a piece of the churro and proceeded to eat it when we were all hit with a very hot and spicy flavor that was burning our throats. I grabbed the menu to make sure I didn't miss the part that says spicy churros but it was not there. I called the server over and asked if the churros were supposed to be spicy and she said no. The server mentioned that maybe the knife they use to cut peppers was used to cut the churro into the six pieces on the plate. She immediately apologized and asked if we wanted more churros or another dessert and we said no thanks to the churros and asked for a piece of tres leches cake to-go because it was getting late. A few moments later the server comes back to tell us she can't change the dessert because we ate 4 of the six pieces, at that point the manager comes to our table and does not apologize or ask what happened, he blurts out in his broken English "what is your problem here". I said I don't have a problem, your dessert is the problem and it is way too spicy when it's not supposed to be and burned all our mouths including my 10 year old. He said I'm not going to change the churros because you ate 4 and there is only 2 left. I said yes sir, there are four of us at the table, it's basic math to have 2 left but the issue is they are hot and not supposed to be, we did not ask for anything spicy. He again said we're not going to change them but don't worry I'll look into it for you while giving me a weird wink like were friends. I told the guy to forget it, were leaving anyways and he single handedly ruined any future return to this place. Good going Sir (insert sarcasm), we dropped obout $75 for a family of 4 and you lost a customer for less than a $7 fix to keep the customer happy and do the right thing. People like that have no business being managers, not all your customers are scammers trying to get free stuff. To the unpleasant, unprofessional manager who rudely handled the situation, I hope your investigation is going well trying to figure out who the culprit was that sabatoged our dessert. I expect a full report sir, thanks...

The older woman asked "table for 1?" I answered her, "Yes please." Again the younger girl huffed and said "Out here" I stopped at a 2 top booth inside & said "I'd like to sit inside." She turned around and said, "you have to eat at the bar area out here" She put a torn, ragged menu on the table & left. I still didn't get a straight answer as to why I couldn't sit inside. So I followed her out by the bar and the bartender came out and asked me if I wanted something to drink by the time he came back with my drink I had my order and gave it to him. Then I had to flag down a waitress after 15 minutes and ask her to check on my order cuz it was simply a chicken quesadilla. Again with an eye roll and a "sure ma'am" The bartender showed up, as soon as everybody was out of sight, with my food. I told him I have exactly 15 minutes now before I had to leave, so come back in 10 minutes bring a to-go box and a to go cup. He did. Everything else was fine but as I was leaving I said to the two girls behind the hostess station "Thank you"... not a peep in response. I was not dressed up but I did not look like a homeless person either. I don't understand the attitude but thankfully the bartender was able to do his job and made my short stay okay.
Edit** 7-10-3020 - Ordered Take Out. Live 17 minutes away & food was hot when we dug in!! The "fixins" (sour cream, guacamole, etc) were separate and still cold. Perfectly packaged, amazing food!!! Oh, and our server that brought the food was exceptional!! He was friendly & upbeat and made our trip out, worth it!!!
Social Distancing, disposable items, great drinks, great food, nice servers, it was...
Read moreThe service we received from our server was very negative. He did not listen to us at all and seemed very dismissive of us. I had asked if the queso had anything in it because I couldn’t remember if it did but he said no but I still made sure to say that if it had any pico that it be taken out because we’ve asked for it plain like that before. He then brought out the queso with the pico in it and immediately walked away. At this point we still didn’t have our drinks and when he did bring them out about 10 minutes later we told him that we asked for the queso with nothing in it. He got very snappy and said that’s how it comes to which we said but we asked that the pico be taken out which they’ve done for us before but he seemed annoyed by our request and said I’ll see if they can. He brought the queso out after a while and just had a very nasty attitude. He asked if we were ready to order but when I started to order he had his head turned away and wasn’t writing anything down. I asked for a lot of stuff to just not come with the meal like the tomatoes, lettuce, and mushrooms. When I was finished ordering he also asked for my menu back in a very rude and off putting way, I was of course gonna give it back but he seemed to just be rushing. My boyfriend then ordered his meal and was cut off while ordering because it seemed like the server was just trying to leave. At this point I was just over it since I felt just very disrespected and I also felt like my food might just come out wrong since the previous thing we ordered was wrong and he didn’t seem to really listen to what we said. We just went to the front and payed for what we got and left. I’ve come here before and enjoyed the food but this experience really ruined this...
