I have mixed experiences here. The place looked new and clean, and the waiter's first impression was friendly. We ordered from the menu and enjoyed our drinks, especially the lemonade. However, we were surprised when we were told adults couldn't order from the kids' menu, even though we had an 11-year-old kid at the table.

In all transparency, one of our table members is a very petite eater. Yet, a young adult by age. Who desired a Kids' portion because otherwise, a regular portion is too much for her. She probably weighs less than 80 pounds, wet.

The food was okay, with some dishes better than others. We liked the garlic bread, although the mozzarella sticks were "crunchy." The Caprese salad was "different" and "ok good." My dish was somewhat tasty, yet my wife's dish was bland. In all fairness, the kid's portion plate was the best of all dishes! 😂

By the end of the meal, the manager came to pick up our plates and "check on us." after her pressing feedback request, we kindly shared. In our respectful conversation, we learned that the restaurant policy restricts serving kids' menu dishes to adults.

Although denied, our consensus impression is that profits goes before satisfaction. Her feedback, “This is a prevalent complaint, especially from the senior clientele,” whose appetite is not as voracious, I added.

Call me whatever, but I have never encountered such a policy, and before you call me names, consider the number of restaurant reviews I do for Google reviews in a year, not to mention the ones I don't add to be reviewed. Look at the record…

We appreciated the manager's kindness and willingness to converse, yet she seemed respectfully defensive over the policy. Constantly justifying the policy with arguments that clearly led to conclude; earnings before experience.

On a positive note, our server was attentive and helpful. Our lunch was a great experience, not because of the place but because of the company we had at the table.

Perhaps the restaurant owners should reconsider a reduction in their standard portion or the total elimination of the kids' menu for bigger profits.

In my opinion, it's best to eliminate the ridiculous policy because of the apparent many complaints and the negative connotation it brings. If customer satisfaction is of the utmost goal, then display it. But if profits are of the utmost, what else are they cutting corners on? It is a...

Adriatic Cafe is great Italian spot tucked away in a cozy atmosphere that you wouldn't expect from looking at the outside in a busy strip center. Very welcoming and tentative staff upon arrival. We came in kinda late, so maybe some staff was cut and our waiter had a more tables than normal since service was a tad slow, but not unacceptable. The bread was amazing. I assume they use their pizza dough, it was airy, garlicky, buttery and fresh! The sauce is the boss here and we were quick to find out when dipping our fried mozzarella sticks in the house marinara sauce that they came with. Based off of this we knew that we had to get the pizza next time around, as we had already placed our food order. Once the food arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find healthy portions and the meals to be fresh. Spaghetti and Meatballs: the spaghetti while not house made was cooked perfectly and the meatballs seem to be handmade and tasted delicious. The Linguini Pescatore: this dish was delicious. It had calamari, shrimp, and muscles in a marinara sauce over linguini noodles. Accompanied with a nice glass of Merlot it was to a nice pairing. The Pasta Sampler: Three different pastas as follows, one stuffed ravioli, one cannelloni, and a small portion of lasagna covered in their delicious marinara sauce topped with mozzarella cheese and baked in the oven. Needless to say; the leftovers will not last for long. We had the Tiramisu and I opted for a cappuccino to accompany which was delicious. Thank you Chef and Staff of Adriatic Cafe, we'll be back for...

I've had Adriatic Cafe saved on my restaurants to visit for a while so the hubs and I decided to check them out on a Monday evening. The restaurant seemed busy, but we were immediately greeted and seated. Our waitress was extremely nice. She quickly took our drink order and while we looked over the menu she brought out some warm (maybe garlic) bread. It was fresh and hot, just in my opinion lacked some more butter and garlic. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. These were perfectly made. The crispiness was excellent and the marinara sauce was delicious. After a few minutes we decided on our food. My husband ordered a personal pepperoni pizza and I opted for the Tortellini Modo Mio with Chicken. We did not wait too long for our food. Unfortunately I did not get to taste the pizza as I was too focused on my own food. However the hubs said it was good. There was a lot of pizza so he had leftovers. My dish was good, not great or maybe I did not know what to expect. It was a bit watery. The tortellini was perfectly cooked and so was the broccoli. I would have preferred the chicken to be served as a whole piece vs being cut into pieces. I will say it lacked flavor, but I added a bit of salt, pepper and parmesan cheese and it made it better. I too had leftovers. We took dessert home, plain cheesecake. It was honestly one of the best I've had in a long time. It was not too sweet and just the right amount of creaminess. I am definitely coming back to explore other items...

We ordered a “take out” the day after my birthday because my hubby was not in town the day before. We ordered a little after 2pm so we ordered off the lunch menu. They stated it would be ready in 20 mins , we were there in 15 mins and the food was already sitting on the rack (who knows how long) . We ordered fried zucchini for our appetizer,. First , I have never seen zucchini shaped like a string cheese?? Second, they were over cooked & some burnt so I am sure we received left overs from the lunch hour or maybe the cook was ready to head out. They tasted like frozen food with a touch of burnt crunchiness 🤮 We also ordered the fettuccine with chicken and the Italian sampler aka “red sauce” sampler. That is exactly what we received ! A goop of red sauce with some burnt cheese on top. Never found the manicotti in the dish , found one ravioli and a piece of what was suppose to be lasagna… I am assuming ? Not sure because it was not appetizing, at ALL ! Straight to the trash can is were it made it. The fettuccine was not too bad but the garlic and the butter was so over powering it felt like you were eating a stick of butter with a clove of garlic on top of it. My dogs really enjoyed the bread & we enjoyed the salads. I was really eager to eat here after the reopening but what a HUGE disappointment.
