I had an absolutely incredible stay at Atwell Suites Kansas City Airport and can’t stop raving about it. From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless—the check-in process was smooth, parking was easy, and the modern, stylish design of the hotel made me feel like I was at a luxury resort.

The rooms were beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and had a high-end feel that far exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. The drink bar was a fantastic touch, and I had a great experience at the Bar & Bites, where I enjoyed the spicy chicken sandwich and chocolate lava cake—both were excellent.

The only minor detail that stood out was the breakfast. It felt a little underwhelming compared to the rest of the hotel experience, almost as if it was added as an afterthought. But honestly, everything else about my stay more than made up for it.

I travel frequently and am always looking for hotels that combine quality, value, and exceptional service. Atwell Suites Kansas City Airport delivered on all fronts, and I would love to make this my go-to spot when visiting Kansas City. I would be thrilled to recommend this hotel to others and even share my experience with my audience. I’d love to stay again in the future and explore more of what Atwell Suites has to offer.

This was a new hotel - so it was very clean. The bad news is....there is no sound proofing. It is next to the airport so it sounded like airplanes were taking off in our room! And next to freeway so we could also hear revving engines waking us up in the night. Plus hear the conversations of people walking in the hallway. The price was cheap but it was also bare-bone basics, minimal of everything. We had a room for 4 people, they provided 2 towels. One bed needed a blanket - the front desk said the didn't have any left. The foot of the other bed was literally right next to the wall A/C so when the A/C came on it lifted the edge of the blanket and blew cold air under the sheets directly onto my feet. The TV is mounted on the wall so you had walk past it to get to the beds and bathroom - but it also stuck out - so we hit our shoulder on it as we walked by - very painful. There was a little sink by the door but the sink had no soap or towels. Breakfast had very few choices and was spread out - hard to find everything. Cereal dispenser & fruit were on the bar counter, around the corner in a different area were sausage patties, scrambled eggs, English muffin & hard boiled eggs. But where was the coffee? That was hidden in yet another area across the room. Breakfast seating was also awkward so there were really only 2 tables available for families. This simply was not a comfortable experience. We had an extended stay here that left a lot to be wanted. Beds were comfy, and the space was roomy. Staff were all friendly and kind.

Some cons: Rooms come with the bare minimum supplies. We had 2 towels and 2 washcloths for a party of 6. The hotel supplied bath soaps were empty yet hung up as if they were ready for the guests. The pull out couch had no blankets on it, and there were no extras in the closet. There are no extra trash bags in the room. The trash cans are tiny bathroom sized cans even in the kitchenette. I felt terrible the number of times we had to stop by the front desk, call the front desk, or stop housekeeping just to get enough room supplies to comfortably use the space. I don't understand why a room rated to sleep 6 and with a kitchenette wouldn't already come with the appropriate amount of blankets, towels, and trash bags. Breakfast ran out quickly. Both mornings, we went down, and it took them half an hour or longer to refill the food warmers. Their tvs are set up to allow you to mirror screen, but it won't connect with any other device, so you could only stream their built-in service choice, Netflix. Their website states there's a pool, but there isn't. They send you to a hotel across the street to use theirs.
