Looking for Haunted Houses around Vancouver was a joke, nothing to be found. Not going to make the drive to Portland. Came across the Cinema of Horrors Haunted House and gave it a look and man, so glad I did. Purchased the tickets on-line to save a few $$$ for the evening of 10/28, loaded up the family, said were going for a drive and headed to Kelso. I really wanted the experience that I got with my parents when I was a kid of going to a Haunted House and being scarfed out of my wits. Pulling into the parking lot our kids we're asking "what's going on?", they were very neurvious. There was a pretty long line, we waited about an hour and a half, but the weather was nice and a full moon complemented the mood. There were lot's of different characters walking around outside sneaking up on unexpected victims, it was really great. Once we got inside the real show began. There were three different experiences you get to walk thru, each with a different theme. It was awesome letting the kids and wife walk ahead of me and seeing the jump scares and hearing the screams come from them. The best part was at the end, seeing the smiles and telling us what their favorite parts were. This production was an A+++, the staff was great. The show was really well put together and worth every dollar. This will be our go to going forward. Update 4/20/2024: Came back up for the Zombie Outbreak and once again this place knocked it out of the park!! So fun going thru with the family. Our son was on point, mom and dad in the center, finally our daughter bringing up the rear. Hearing the laughs and screams from them made it all the better. The guns handed out felt very realistic with sounds and recoil. This place really knows how to put on an immersive show.

AMAZING HAUNTS! The set design and themes of each haunt are really well done. I felt like I was immersed into a movie set. The monsters did a great job of playing their specific character just right. I literally jumped from about 7 scares. They built a new voodoo haunt this year that is top notch. The staff was friendly and you can tell the event organizer puts a lot of time and thought into every aspect of your experience! Highly recommended, do not miss this!

My husband and I had a great time navigating the haunted houses. The layout was well executed and I was screaming nonstop. The actor's had awesome costumes and were very committed to staying in character so be prepared to be constantly freaked out. Afterwards we hung out in the lobby for a bit( I was shaking) and some of the actor's came and hung out with us and took pictures, everyone was so nice. We had a really great time and will go back in the future!

I couldn’t feel worse about spending over $100 on something not only was it pretty much the same thing as 2 years ago but they said no photos or videos NOT no phones . I’m a mom and it’s getting late of course I’m going to check my phone, I need to know what time it it & then being approved by an actor I was Trying to match the energy of the of who jumped out at me I said but I want to take a pic of my kids with the skeletons then I said jk ( my phone went directly back into my pocket before he finished saying no phones ) until it buzzed , I pulled it out ( my kids as kids always do , made a small fuss . “mom no pic put it away!! “ok ok I said just making sure I’m not getting a call then it goes in my pocket for the rest of the tour . That should had been the end of it . I didn’t attempt to take any pics ( I even paid $8 for one ) or video & my phone was completely put away with in the first 2 mins . They could’ve said, hey we take phones being out pretty seriously so try not to take it out at ALL but nope they just said no pics or videos & I honored that . But they failed to honor basic standards in a business we as citizens expect these attractions to respect the people that pay to visit their establishment & take things Like safety seriously but the touching was out of hand & the spitting was super gross . I mean Why are theyer no camera in a place people are being startled left & right & unpaid actors off the streets are allowed to grope whoever all in the name of a Halloween attraction . I don’t believe it’s for our safety it’s for theyers . It got so uncomfortable I ended up approaching the manager about it as soon as we walked out .l began explaining what happened & he immediately called me a liar than when the older clown lady walked out that was completely out of line in the show ( I mean where was she when some of the actors kept touching & spitting on us if rules are so important ) so I said that’s her, thats who approached me . Instead of getting to the bottom of it he said oh no we don’t talk to them but “then why do they approach us in a serious manner “ I mean it was fine a few mins ago . So she walked up and said I had my phone infrontof me which was a lie . I had my 10 yr old son arms wrapped around me & min around him . I asked if he can check his camera footage & that would solve everything . We can skip the drama & solve everything. He said they don’t have cameras . Only in the lobby . So there’s NO CAMERAS back there ! Great because a stranger is going to go against a co worker or friend for all I know for a total stranger . That’s not happening , he wasn’t interested In anything I had to say until I apologized in order to finish the $115 tour & the only Halloween event I was able to do with the kids . I should’ve went somewhere else. The whole experience was bad . I expected more out of a establishment that has two location & has been around for years . It doesn’t seem like they appreciate...

Long one: Hit this place on the way home to Olympia from a day trip to Portland. Love haunted houses even though it had been about 10 yrs since my last trip to one. My husband and i came away having had a really good time. I'm a laugher when going through these things, but there were a few instances where some really good screams came out of my mouth. One downside is they offer VIP tickets online where you can get to the front of the line to get in. I have no problem with this, but they should have a separate ticket window for those people to approach separately so that they can get in and get in quick. Those of us who had an entertaining time standing out in the cold watching the characters scare others up and down the line will get really ticked off about being cut in front of at the ticket booth. My husband and I are not young and when someone our age tried to come up with his cell phone and cut in front of us at the ticket booth, I was not having any of that. He wanted to get in before the rest of us into the fun stuff, that's just great. Don't think these people should be allowed to cut in front of those people who've been waiting in the ticket booth line for half hour. Get a separate entrance for those people. And in the extremely dark locations that they have throughout the venue, they need some kind of foot lighting so that people know which direction to go. Some of the actors/ actresses will scream at the top of their lungs right in your ear for 30 seconds at a time, but overall you should have...
