D&F Rolled Ice Cream & Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Kelso

Ex employee here, I saw the one star review about this place that talked about how horrible the owner was to an employee, that employee was me. Im both embarassed but also happy that someone saw how I was treated and decided to make it known, and now I'm doing the same. Anonymously just in case. I was treated horribly on my first day because according to the owner, I wasnt scooping the ice properly, even though I was doing it exactly how ahe showed me. She muttered under her breath curses an insults in chinese thinking I wouldnt understand. She grabbed me more than once because I was either "in the way" or I "wasnt doing something right". This was all during my first day, mind you. To cut to the chase, I wouldnt recommend spending your money here, the work environment is horrid and honestly, both the food and tea arent worth it. The corndogs are microwaved straight from the freezer in the back (which was cluttered and honestly not very clean) and the fruit that can be rolled into and/or be used as an ice cream topper sits out all day behind...

Absolutely love this place. Came here a few weeks ago and got a Taro bubble tea. They make their own boba, and the texture is PERFECT. It's not hard in the center like some other places. It's not posted,, but they also have rainbow Boba, lychee flavored Boba, jellies,, and popping boba.

I asked if they have red bean flavor milk tea, but they didn't. However the owner said she would order it to have it in stock. Sure enough, I came back today and they have the red bean flavor! So happy, VERY good. None of the other bubble tea places around here carry the flavor, so I'm so excited to finally have it here in town!

This is a MUST GO spot. Located in a mall that seems abandoned but isn't, it is so worth it!!! The ice cream taste amazing and is made with real, fresh ingredients. The service was fantastic and friendly and the overall process of making this tasty treat was a delight to watch. The mall it is located in is also a rare find. This mall has very few chain store. It is riddled with never before seen novelty stores and if you're anything like me, someone who is tired of the same old same old, than go to this mall. The novelty store are so fun, exciting and interesting. But if you're not in the mood to shop, you MUST stop for the most delicious rolled ice...
