During our stay, we experienced various mishaps from the time of our arrival up until our departure. For starters, I was told that the Marriott system was unable to accept debit cards from my bank (a major bank) at check in due to a system error. That would have been a minor inconvenience had ot not been for my husband's card being charged to hold the room instead when we were told we could pay cash at checkout. That was the first and least troubling of our ordeal during our stay.
Upon getting into our room and putting our food and beverages away in the kitchenette, we discovered several dead gnats lying on the bottom of the room fridge. The bottom drawer also had dark liquid spilled in it. We were grossed out to say the least!
I called the front desk immediately and informed them that there were dead gnats in the fridge and asked that someone come clean the bottom of the refrigerator. My husband and I then put our perishable food items and drinks on the very top shelf, away from the mess, and left our unopened snacks on the counter close by the fridge. We then left to go sightsee.
Upon arriving back to our room a few hours later, we discovered that not only had the fridge NOT been cleaned, and the gnats and mess still there, but all of our food and drinks were gone! Even the unopened snacks on the counter!
My husband and I were outraged, and immediately called the front desk again to explain what had happened. The lady at the front desk apologized and said everyone else on the staff had gone home for the evening, and that we could stop by the front desk for a towel and cleaning solution to clean the fridge ourselves if we wanted? Excuse me, but WHAT?
She then told us someone would call us in the morning about the missing food and drinks.
At this point, hungry, frustrated, and exasperated, we called the corporate customer service Marriott office and told them what had happened. The agent I spoke to assured me that there would be a resolution although it may take a few days to get a callback from corporate.
The next morning, my husband and I waited for the call from the front desk we were assured we'd receive to follow up, which never came. Around noon, we headed downstairs ourselves, and inquired as to why no one had gotten back to us. The front desk supervisor informed us that the lady we spoke to the previous night had not even told anyone what had happened. And she had just found out herself because corporate had sent over an email about my complaint!
The supervisor was gracious and empathetic and was able to reimburse us for our food and drinks that were taken from our room. She also assured me that they were looking into what happened and would send someone to clean the refrigerator. We were there for another 24 hours, and housekeeping never came to clean it! My husband got fed up and decided to clean it himself!
Needless to say, we did not feel at all secure or comfortable in our room after this experience, and will not be returning to this location. Very disappointed as we have been longtime Bonvoy members and loyal to the Marriott brand. But this experience was a complete failure and departure from what we've come to expect from...

Pros: Didn’t have to pay for parking because of extended stay. Staff was kind and was understanding of my early departure.
Cons: No joke, non stop noise from every direction. Impossible to get a decent night’s rest.
This is coming from someone who never cared for hotels in the first place and had to stay in one for a month during COVID procedures so please keep this in mind while reading. The first week was unbearable. I think there was an event going on near by so the weekend was painful with the amount of traffic zooming by your head, especially at night. I knew everything about my suite-mate and their significant other by the end of the week to include their birthdays and how old they were since they were so incredibly loud and animated about everything (Very young. So much energy...). Upstairs was the most heavy footed individual in existence, so much so that the walls would vibrate and my ears would pop. They had a weird sleep schedule so from 10pm to 1am it was just constant stomping and thuds every 5-15 minutes. I asked to move but they only had another first floor opening that sat right in front the individuals that kept cat calling me all week. There were so many kids running around... and granted it was kinda cool how they could all played together even tho they were total strangers, but man, screaming comes with excitement and after the first 2 ear-piercing screams, you kinda just want it to stop. God bless parents. I wasn’t told you had to request room service with a 24hr in advance notice. I have killer allergies and with it being spring time, the amount of pollen and pedals that built up just at the entrance of my room alone was crazy and I didn’t get it vacuumed until day 9. I waited a week to see if anyone would come by until I eventually asked the front desk what the procedures were, and although I wish they told me that up front, the evening and weekend ladies were very kind. Breakfast came in a bag which is disappointing but not shocking. I’m Celiac so I couldn’t really eat anything provided (a muffin and a nutri-grain bar, an apple and a yogurt) so I didn’t return after the first time. Again, that was all in the first week and while I became aquatinted with the cleaning procedures, the noises still persist. I was tired everyday... I wound up staying near 3 weeks but I can’t see myself checking into here ever again. So yeah. I’d say 3 stars sums it up pretty well. They did fine with what they’re working with, the place was clean and the staff was very nice, but I’m still not a fan of hotels and I think this...
Read moreAlthough I escalated concerns to Lily (current general manager), communication means a lot to me, even if its a less desirable outcome, so I am sharing current status here & will provide an edit when I get a resolution. I experienced many issues during my business stay I have yet to receive resolution for. Top concerns were blood on my comforter (which tells me it is not washed regularly which calls to safety and hygiene) *see photos, or high valued items left in room. Check-in was great with Jennifer, I had concerns over tone but that was truly just how she spoke. She provided me additional sheets with the hygiene concern as well as promised a solution to it. I did ask for a bottom floor, which there ended up being open - despite customer not answering her calls they checked in and she provided them so I admire she kept her word - just sucked I requested, they didnt answer and it was still held for them.
Day one of getting breakfast, I went down with still two hours left of breakfast hours and there was no food, two clerks at the desk on their phones. I ended up going to Ihop and submitting to my company for reimbursement. Day two of breakfast, little option and stale coffee I am not sure how often it is changed.
Check out was okay, I was not asked about my stay. Only if I wanted a printed reciept, we do all have our days and I am not one to say leave it at home as we are human but there was little personality or attempt at customer service.
Pool & Jacuzzi closed due to maintenance which sucked after a work out. Water machine gym is empty all 4 days I was there. Lobb very and uncomfortably warm I felt genuinely bad for the clerks in the office.
I had to request extra towels as my room was never serviced. The freezer and coffee maker was actually dirty; initially I was willing to overlook as a mistep on their part, short staff, and I carry my own wipes even pre-pandemic; I should have known this would be an indicator of the stay.
Regarding hygiene, it was hours after check in, work out, and night shower that I pull the sheets back to find blood on the comforter. I was beyond disgusted as this is just plain unsanitary! As a natural born female I know blood comes out and does not stain on the off change it does - DO NOT USE for future customers - the spot was big there is no way to miss it this is blatant disregard for safety.
10/10 would...
