Chestnut Cafe Kent — Restaurant in Kent

You know those days when everything goes right? Like your chakras are in line and your Chi is good? That's the same feeling I got when I walked in here. I Googled places to eat, & out of all the places near me I chose this one. I'm glad I did. Nice little sandwich shop located in an industrial park area linked to a building with other businesses. Whoever runs this place keeps it clean and keeps it neat. I used the restroom which is down the hall meant for all the other businesses to use. Besides the fact that someone had just dropped a deuce in it, it was pretty nice as well. Looking at the front door it has a public health food safety rating of excellent! That makes me feel better! The Wendy's I ate at by my hotel last night was terrible and should have a food safety rating of needs to improve. Tired of our hotel’s continental breakfast, when I saw there was a place with reportedly good breakfast burritos nearby, I was interested. I ordered a burrito and a double espresso, my husband ordered a turkey avocado sandwich and a double americano. I was initially concerned about the size of the burrito (is it enough food?) but upon finishing it, I was satisfied. As others have said, the spicy mayo brings the flavor. The hashbrown adds a pleasant crispiness. My husband enjoyed his sandwich as well, but if you like your condiments, you may want to ask for extra (maybe it’d be good with the spicy mayo?). Please don't ever eat here. It was not very well kept up and it wasn't filthy but I can't say it was clean either. The food was meh, only enough tuna to barely cover the bread and the cream of broccoli soup tasted like Campbell's cream of mushroom with some ground up frozen broccoli added. The owner was talking smack about cops the whole time with a different customer and in the same conversation was cursing even dropping an F bomb and bashing Boeing in the same conversation.
