I was scheduled to meet my truck driver mentor here after my trucking company sent me an itinerary to catch a Greyhound bus from NC to GA. Now, upon arrival into LaGrange, GA, I was dropped off at the wrong hotel by my Uber driver. Which was a misunderstanding that was made by my company because it was the second time they had to schedule my arrival to LaGrange, GA. So, I had to walk over a mile to the correct hotel at 1:30 am after traveling for 14 hours on a bus from NC. The gentleman at the front desk checked me in, but I was inquiring if I had to check out at 11 am later that morning because I just walked over a mile after a long bus ride and barely had time to eat. I started feeling like I was going to pass out after walking with all my luggage and the gentleman kept insisting that if I wanted to stay an extra night I needed to provide a credit card. I wasn't the one who made the reservation and explained I'm here from my company and I don't have enough on my card to reserve a room and I can't think clearly because I was exhausted and about to faint. The gentleman insisted that when I check out tomorrow morning, I can just walk over to the mall down the street to wait for my driving mentor. Which I didn't have an ETA of when to expect him. It's not his fault, but I was exhausted and feeling faint and almost collapsed in the elevator after I told him to just let me check in and try to get ahold of my company. He didn't offer a water or if I needed assistance to my room or concern. Again, it's not his fault, but it was frustrating that I was trying to hold myself up without fainting from exhaustion. My company fixed the problem and they sent the extra reservation date the following morning and the woman at the front desk was absolutely the best and made me feel at ease with knowing I wouldn't have to leave the room I got into around 2:30 am and only managed to get 3 hours sleep. I really appreciated her courtesy and she went above and beyond to help me keep the room another night. The rooms on the other hand, weren't cleaned well. I was on the 4th floor and there were clumps of dust along the wall and flooring, some questionable streaks on the mirrors near the bathroom, and some sticky spots on the floor. The walls aren't very solid, so you can hear when people are talking normally and slamming doors down the halls. It's an okay room, but the hotel is set up away from walking access to restaurants and gas stations. I wasn't about to walk another mile just to stock up on items for my upcoming training and walk a mile back since I was charted in by bus. The morning staff was very jovial and friendly and accommodating though. That's a plus, but night shift, not so much. The morning cleaners aren't really cleaning to the fullest potential and the location is lackluster. Especially if your only mode of getting around is by walking.

Hello, my fellow followers this is the worst hotel to go to. I was gonna wait until I leave, but the situations are getting worse. I am only here due to my job paying for the hotel and there’s no other hotels available at the moment from the start. The carpets was very moldy smelling then when we addressed it, they moved us to another room with hardwood floors so they knew the carpet was bad now today’s topic. my blood is boiling because I was in the elevator and it was urine in there so I come down to the staff and the video below, and I told her this is her face, but I told her that it was pee in the elevator, she said oh I know I think a dog peed in there, but I didn’t get the chance to get around it fast-forward. I am sitting outside and she comes and has a cigarette break now I go in and check the elevate why she’s out here smoking, and the piss is on the floor in evidence below the camera and she’s sitting here smoking, but you can smoke and not clean up the pee time out there was nobody available to cover the desk then I asked about the pool it’s 85° and she says I think that it’s closed for the season she’s given very lazy very unorganized and very unprofessional behaviors. I could go on, but I think that is enough. If I could get this hotel, a zero I would oh not to mention the washing machines you have to pour water in the machine to get it to work. I don’t recommend this hotel for anyone I get as cheap. I gets its cheap but your staff can be better. They were not one friendly staff here and we’ve been here for three weeks by force not by choice.(work trip) and back outside again before I even go in smh

This would have to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I am completely shocked at how many four star reviews this hotel has, so I am convinced that these reviews must be fake. The hotel is filthy, and the room also filthy and falling apart. When entering the hotel and walking through the hallways it smells of smoke. There is no type of housekeeping services done, I had to constantly ask for my trash to be taken out and new towels. The trash cans inside the hotel are like bathroom trash cans. They are very small meaning if you put two water bottles in the trashcan, it’s already full. So I was constantly dealing with trash overflow. When I left for the day Saturday housekeeping asked was there any services I needed. I told her the basics…new towels, rags, trash needs to be taken, etc.. When I came back to my room that night, the only thing that had been done was trash and one towel was laying over a dirty tub. I had to ask for products to clean my room. The carpet is filthy as you can see in the pictures below, but I promise you these pictures make it look way better than it does in person. I went to open the microwave and it fell off in my hand. I went to get in the tub and a piece fell off in the tub. Please do not listen to the fake reviews, this hotel is not in the best shape. Also, the hotel elevator was out of commission and constantly breaking down.

We had a family reunion this past weekend and chose to try out the Wingate for the first time. We usually stay at another hotel but wanted to switch up. This was a mistake! Check-in was the worst that I have ever experienced. First, it took 2 - 3 hours after check in before most rooms were ready. There were only a few rooms ready (maybe 4 out of 18). My room was ready 15 minutes after check in but noticed that we had a pond in our room. There was water on the floor. Their customer service is bad too, didn't even offer us another room. The rep stated that the hotel was full and maintenance would have to fix the issue. We had to wait on him to show up. He stated that it came from the air conditioning unit. He fixed it. Then after returning to our room, the key didn't work. We went back and forth 3 times to the front desk for her to reactivate the key but it didn't work. Maintenance had to show up again. He stated that the batteries were corroded at the lock. Ugh. Aside from check in issues, 2 rooms had bed bugs! There was not a manager on duty and no one at the front desk had enough professionalism to address the issues appropriately. They stated that they couldn't get in contact with him and seemed to show little concern. They did move one of my cousins to another room and didn't charge her. My other family member didn't notice that she had bed bugs until 2 days later. She is calling the health department. Breakfast was subpar. My mother had issues with her room key (card) as well. By the way, it was not just our party that had issues at check in, several others did. While many were waiting in the lobby, my brother asked the front desk (Helen) if she could change the t.v. to another station to watch basketball. She said that she couldn't find the remote, didn't offer any other help until about 3 of us asked as well. Then she called maintenance (again - which she should have done in the first place) and he was able to locate the remote. This hotel looks nice on the outside and lobby area but there are several issues. We will not...

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE if you are looking for the standards of the name on the building. 🛑 I have pictures to prove everything.🛑 The room had dirty stained carpet. There was also paint on the carpet. I would not walk barefooted on this carpet. 🛑 The worst Stay I ever had at a Wyndham. I have to ask myself Will I Ever Trust the NAME AGAIN. 🛑 The lamp shade was broke and laying sideways the first night. The second night it was totally gone. 🛑 There was painters blue tape on floor between the bedroom an bathroom, because there was a space of raw concrete. 🛑 There was a dead roach with spiderwebs on it in my room, in plain site. There was a live roach in hallway. I was not the only one to see this. 🛑The carpet in hallway had come apart at the seam. It was easy to trip on since it went across the width of the hallway. The hallway had trash on the floor dental pick plus more. 🛑 When returning to room the heater had been turned off. My question is Why. I needed a warm room to return to. 🛑 The way the bed was made I'm sure was not to the standards of Wyndham. 🛑 The breakfast was of the lowest standards . GREEN EGGS REALLY. 🛑 Not sure of what kind of meat was being served. Not sure about what type of coffee very bitter not hot. Instant girts No way to cook. Styrofoam bowls and plates. Others was standing there just looking like what happen to the breakfast. After a conversation with others we agreed Chick-fil-A was going to be our safest way for a meal. 🛑 SHAME on Wyndham of LaGrange GA FOR RENTING THIS ROOM. SHAME ON Wyndham for not making sure STANDERS are Keep Up. I did inform the front desk. She asked my room number. When i told her eyes opened wide. She said she would let them know. She also said they don't care, but when reservations stop they will care. She also said she here's this alot. She also agreed about the carpet, so they knew the condition and still rented room. PLEASE WYNDHAM GET YOUR STANDARDS BACK. UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT IS COSTING YOUR COMPANY RATING TO DROP. 🛑🛑 PLEASE CONTACT...
