I've been dealing with Chick-fil-A for 45 years and before today I've never had an issue in any of their stores. Due to a problem with their fries I had to re-enter the drive thru and the young man there tried to assist me by going inside to speak to someone about replacing the fries. He returned and informed me that Matt said he would NOT replace my fries , so I had to go inside even though I was in a hurry. I spoke with the manager on shift and he had no problem replacing my fries and said it shouldn't have been an issue. I told him I'd love to speak to Matt and find out his issue with assisting me whenever no one else had a problem.
Matt did come over to speak to me and immediately blamed the young man outside whom I know did nothing wrong. I stopped him and told him that he should own up to his screwing up the long time relationship between a customer and Chick-fil-A, he refused to accept blame. He continued to smirk throughout our conversation and I know he didn't care that he was embarrassing his coworkers and in the long term the owner. I wasn't friendly by this time because it wouldn't have mattered what was said because Matt didn't care about me as a customer or that he happily threw another employee under the bus. Read moreAgain as atmosphere the rush in press you out kind of thing they don't even give you a chance to get out of the car so why even have a dining room looks to me like this space could have been used better for something else cuz they have become really efficient which is one thing I will give this crew here you will come through it fairly fast they're constantly running back and forth to cars to make sure who's got what to make sure everybody's orders right but they're not overly friendly there's not a lot of conversation it's what do you want to order then pull forward is it sure have a nice day but they do it really fast and even though I'm not a fan of Chick-fil-A's food a few of the women that I work with are so when I go through to get them lunch they say that the food is good so actually the rating on the food here is there's not mine but I wanted to give them an honest rating not a biased when like I would have if I had to go off my taste for their food when I go here again no I suggested to other people if you like Chick-fil-A food then by all means the staff here's doing what they are hired to do really efficiently which is take your order give you chicken and...
Read moreGot order wrong and had to go back and then girl said it was my fault and I said how is that, when you handed me the bag of food you said was mine from the drive thru window, but it's my fault that I have the wrong food? Manager type person over heard what I said and apologized quickly with the excuse that she was new and didn't understand to never argue or accuse the customer of anything else, because the customer is always right. Gave me discount cards to get 2 free chicken sandwiches to make up for it, which was nice of him to do. He de-escalated the situation perfectly and even though I don't think she was a new employee (especially after the look she gave him after he said it),but I did appreciate the apology from management when all she wanted to do was blame me for them giving me the wrong food. That's what this generation does, always try to find a way to blame somebody else for whatever goes wrong instead of just apologizing and taking responsibility for whatever happened, so the whole matter can be over...
