Rodeway Inn — Hotel in LaGrange

My advice that the health department need to come shut this place down immediately people are getting sick. It’s also bedbug infested people are tracking these inside of their belongings and taking them around town not only that roach infested bad and they have to keep having it to get sprayed not only that do you not see the mattresses majority of all the rooms look like this This is sad. If you have rented from this hotel, you need to be getting your money back. You need to be going to the doctor. You also need to be checking your belongings. You could be caring multiple diseases from going to this hotel, the manager or staff, they would treat you like you Created this problem and you brought this into their hotel. They do not know how to talk to you and also look at you sexual eyes and say things says they’re not supposed to say as they don’t think customers are right I believe that has this needs to be right in the health department to get this hotel shut down , this hotel don’t get shut down. This town would be infested with bedbugs roaches and also other diseases coming from this hotel is at this hotel that are inside these rooms. Need to be inside a dumpster burnt and buried the furniture inside the hotel need to be burnt and buried also Multiple holes inside the room the roaches crawl all inside the room all the walls all inside the microwave. They also be inside of the refrigerator. The microwaves look like they are supposed to be outside at a dumpster also and this is what you supposed to heat your food up in this is Hepatitis all around and other diseases added to it. COVID-19 is inside the room. These rooms are not getting clean properly the towels that they give you are not even wash properly the tub inside the bathroom are horrible. The toilets are horrible. My advice to anyone that goes here go to the next day immediately or to the hospital Immediately, I am warning people to go to this hotel and if you do check your room, check your check for roaches check for bedbugs. Check your towels check your sheets, check staff and check...

Upon arrival, it was pretty obvious that someone had been smoking in this "non-smoking room". There was a plastic bag hanging from the ceiling that was covering the smoke detector. It was evident that someone did not want to set off the smoke alarm with their cigarette smoke. Surely someone that was cleaning the room would see the plastic bag hanging from the ceiling. (Apparently not) There were 4 people staying in the room. When we came back in for the night, we discovered there were NO towels, bath cloths, bathmat, cups or toiletries in the room. I went to the front desk to request towels for 4 people. The night manager said he would bring them to the room. Fifteen minutes or so later, still no towels. I called the front desk and he said I will be there shortly. He did arrive with only 2 towels and NO bath cloths for 4 people. I called the front desk again and reminded them of my request for 4 towels and bath cloths for 4 people. Several minutes later someone arrived at the door with one towel and one bathmat and no bath cloths. We were so annoyed that we just went to bed without taking a shower. Never again. I should not have to pay for a service and then have to REQUEST things that should be in the room to start with. Oh and I did not mention that there was dried toothpaste in the sink and on the faucet. It made us wonder if the sheets had even...

Loved the room and the area

The only downfall being the lady at the front desk wanting to argue with me and my other guests I brought along with me…

Refused to remagnetize the key cards for my other guest while I was away at work and really made him feel uncomfortable!

I proceeded to call the front desk and the lady wouldn’t let me talk, refused to do it stating it was against policy but then just hung up

I would really appreciate the GM or someone above giving me a call because this experience was awful for people who have severe mental health issues and needed the “safe space” but instead got introduced with attitude and irritation

I really hope Tab at the front can get some coaching of any kind and also I would like an apology

We had to get a hotel because an emergency and it was gonna be super cold and the first night was great, but now we can’t even enjoy the beginning to the second night now too

Having that said too, we both work customer service and it was appalling with how we got approached
