I lived here for almost a year and a half my wife and I and our daughter and we been paying every week on time for a year ! No problems at all when it comes to paying our way because that how this family handle business by handling business ! Now these last past few weeks hasn’t been our best so the first time in over a year of us staying here we was late but we still paid our $426 a week no matter what now the second time one of the front desk women’s called my wife and said we didn’t have to pay cause we was up to date on our weekly rate my wife stated she said no that can’t be true because our room rate is due today ! She said no to my wife in stated no you guys are paid up for this week that was a Saturday so when that Monday comes we get called in the office saying we didn’t pay since Saturday so we had to pay for Saturday and Sunday plus the weekly rate now I didn’t say nothing because I think my wife made the mistake ok fine so on the weekend I caught a dui my wife bail me out that Sunday ! So yesterday we went out all day because she a waitress and I Instacart so we hustled up the weekly room rate came home at 9am to pay the weekly rate the lady name Amika the front desk lady who just started working says well this yall their third time being late yall can pay for the night but yall have to check out tomorrow morning after a year in a half stay no free nights no discount just paying $500 a week ! And for her to give us a alternative after paying $500 a week for a year and a half this is how this have to be done Amika said and that’s what it is as of right now so I tried to talk to a manager Latoya , Amika said Latoya can’t be reach at 9pm the hotel manger can’t be reached now this is how god work ! The guy that Latoya does business with came into the office and yes I was being in their business and he stated he was waiting for Latoya and he called her and meet Latoya in the back so I followed him to talk to the manager Latoya but it looked like Latoya the manager was in a rush so I made a decision to call other hotel so my wife and I and our daughter can have somewhere to sleep Latoya stated before she got in the car that she will call the front desk to see what was going on, Amika hide the calls from us and just kept said Latoya the manager couldn’t be reach tonight so my wife and I finally find a hotel and decided to leave this place Amika told us we still have to pay for a night to get our stuff out of the room so I just paid the for the night then this is what I didnt get if I paid for the night why didn’t I get a Receipt for one and for two why does Amika have to let us in our room shouldn’t we have gotten two keys for our paid room so Amika asked us how long would it take us to move in that she can open the door for us but not give us a key so yes at this point I am fed up so I asked Amika how long does it take for someone to move out of a place that’s when Amika stated that I had to leave the front office before she called the cops but I already paid for the night my check out time would of been today at 11am why did she have to open our paid room door for us ? I’ve added a few photos listed on Priceline with photos of my recent stay. The management Team is the perfect example of how not to treat customers. Mr. Jerome was the first point of contact at the front desk. He asked how could I help you as if was bothering him, I replied I have reservations. He said ok, as soon I I take care of this customer and all those out there (pointing towards the crowd standing on the outside of the front desk office) I’ll come out there and get you. He never came outside after the crowd cleared up, I walked back in and was received by a annoyed look. It was unpleasant. I filled out some paperwork left a card on file for a $50 incidental fee and proceeded to my room to find a completely different product than was advertised. The next morning I get an in room call from the front desk from Latoya GM, telling me why I haven’t checked-out, I explained to Miss Latoya that I should be checking out on Monday morning. She she only saw one reservation, I explained that I made reservations to stay until Monday. This annoyed Latoya and she began to try and over talk me with a threatening tone repeating several times You only have one reservation and that my tone (Asking Questions on how my reservations through Priceline do not show in her system) can get us off on the wrong foot. I asked her again to check the next few dates with my name and she should be able to see all reservations. Latoya finally did just that and found my other reservations. Apparently they where booked separately instead of consecutively through Priceline. After dealing with an unprofessional GM. The best morning I get a similar call from Shanae front desk who when asked what was her name she replied Front Desk. This is after she asked me if I was checking out again or did I want to pay to stay an extra day.. this was the most unprofessional customer service experience I have ever received dealing with a vendor listed on Priceline. Oh I can go on and on but, I will leave you with this. I asked Latoya GM for an extra two pillows for my room as I was staying with my wife and the room came with two pillows. She stated that she had to check her inventory to see if they had extra pillows. This appears I be an extended stay hotel. I did not see this listed on Priceline. The rooms were gloomy as if people were smoking in them for years yet, they said smoke free rooms and facilities. I saw people hanging out on the landing drinking beer smoking weed and listening to music. To be honest that didn’t bother me more than the distasteful interaction with staff on site on three separate occasions on a three night stay. Day 1 Jerome, Day 2 Latoya GM, Day three Shanae. It is clear to me that the leader Miss Latoya has enabled her staff with anti-customer service skills and allows them to act as such on site during work hours. The worst experience EVER IN MY LIFE...
Read more· The room itself was ok i mean its no Ritz Carlton you get what you pay for and it ultimately served its purpose. My first two nights i was in a newer room so everything was newer and clean!! I ended up having to stay 8 more nights and was transferred to another room for the extended stays and its was not so nice. Appliances were old, the actual hotel door didnt shut properly, and THEY DO HAVE ROACHES!!!! I saw about 4 during my 8 day stay in the other room!! But like i said the room itself served its purpose!! NOW THE STAFF!! Some are ok enough but any kind of issue they are ratchett and unprofessional!! MY CARD WAS CHARGED UNAUTHORIZED TWICE IN ONE DAY!! When i went in to talk to someone the evening it first happened a chic was in there id never seen before (gave me a Set It Off vibe by the looks of her stiff Bank Robber like wig) was very nasty denying the charges although id shown her proof and just requested that id come and talk to the Office Manager first thing in the morning. Fair enough so i asked that she make a note of it that i was coming so it wouldnt come off as an attack. I was never rude to anyone. So the following morning i go in and the Mexican looking chic whom ive dealt with several times (looks straight out of the Jurassic with her TRex shaped mouth and teeth) asked for the Office Manager she stated she wasnt there (side eye) so i explained the situation to her. SHE IMMEDIATELY GOT NASTY AND DEFENSIVE!! I still remained calmed showed her the proof and even called my card right there in front of her!! The rep told me that the first charge was made 10:52am (which was correct my receipt time is 10:54am) and the second charge was made at 11:56am...hmmmmm guess who was the rep on duty at that date & time?? T'Rexa herself!! Sooooo if you didnt do anything why the defense/aggression?? I was never loud with anyone, cussed, combative etc so why the attitude?? My card rep stated to resolve the issue the fastest the hotel would need to write a statement on their letter head saying they did not swipe my card etc and they would refund my money immediately. Well of course she couldnt do that, first it was she had to see if she had the time, then she had to see if she had a paper with the letter head on it etc. Needless to say i wont be returning to this hotel, and will contact EVERY avenue i need to to make others aware AND to get my money back!!
