The pros: the whirlpool tub fills fast and even at the end of the hallway was able to provide a very hot bath. You can fit 2 individuals comfortably within it.
The main shower and tub are located in a separate room that does not feel cramped
The fridge in the room was cold and AC unit kept the room at a comfortable Temp.
The windows fully open to give you some fresh air if you want as well
The lamps also have electrical outlets in them to charge your phone or run a CPAP if you have one
The soaps and toiletries were decent.
The pillows were soft
Unfortunately this is where the positives end.
The Cons:
There is a single ice machine located on the first floor by the lobby. This is next to dated vending machines that do not offer card function so bring cash.
There is also no elevator. So if you are disabled. You better hope they have a room on the main floor for you. Have heavy luggage? Be prepared to haul it up a flight of stairs. For the second floor rooms. They said they have a door at the far end of the building but tye card reader was broken. So be prepared to have to take it all the way to your room if you are on the far end instead.
This hotel does not have access directly off 27th Street. You need to turn in and go behind the car dealership to find the single entrance and exit to the parking lot.
The king sized bed while big,was about a 9/10 for firmness. So be prepared for that.
This hotel looks like it's taking attempts to save money/energy by going to LED. This is great except half the bulbs in the suite we're burnt out or not right for the fixture. They had issues in some of the lamps when you attempted to turn them on the flickered instead of lighting up.
Speaking of electrical short comings. Tye tv was small and hard to see from the bed across the room. The remote did not work and the cable minibox had to he power cycled a few times to...
Read moreWe booked a room for our family vacation at the north location in Lincoln NE. The first room I booked I accidentally booked for the day I was making the reservation instead of the actual vacation date...my bad. Well I contacted the property and they said since it was an honest mistake, they would refund the no show charge once my actual reservation was complete. Ok, fine. Well, we get there on our reserved date and the room we got was NOTHING like what the website described. When I talked to the receptionist, she told me the pictures on the website were incorrect...um, ok so why haven't they fixed it!!?? I mean, they obviously know they are wrong! Either way, I couldn't get the one I wanted because they were booked. Well the room we did get, a king jacuzzi room, smelled so musty and moldy. There were stains all over the carpet, I was afraid to walk barefoot in there. Only option receptionist gives me is to go to a hotel down the road...which would mean I'd have to pay for the one at AmericInn plus the new one...yeah not happening. We dealt with it, and made our way home the next day. Then I contact the property manager again about getting my original charge reversed since we completed our reservation.....4 times I tried to contact, no response. I've since contacted AmericInn by Wyndham's customer service with all the above issues. Their response, they'll have the property manager contact me....yeah that's obviously not going to happen. First time I tell them I've gotten no response, they offer me points....um yeah after this I'm never staying with them again. The second time I tell them I've gotten no response, they don't even response. Oh, and the subject line of their e-mail...."Your Feedback Means the World to Us" clearly...

Only added moisture to the room and made the carpets damp. Which had numerous colored stains on it. Keep shoes on when walking around and bring a candle or some room spray.
Went to check out the pool/hot tub. Pool was murky to the point where you couldn’t even see the bottom of the shallow end. The hot tub wasn’t working. Upon looking at other reviews the answer I was given by the front desk person was “somebody hit the emergency switch” is a lie. We tried the pool thinking maybe they had just cleaned it so it hadn’t filtered out yet. Nope, it was gross. Floating hair, debris on the floor and that’s all of the 2 minutes we stayed in the pool.
Needing to clean off after that experience the shower had parts of the wall coming down, mold in all the corners of the bathroom and no working vent fan. At least the towels felt soft and clean.
Traveling for two days we packed a cooler and went to put our food in the fridge. You guessed it, didn’t work. Ok, I’ll go get some ice and just keep it in the cooler like we do when we go camping. Ice machine spit out a couple cubes, I stepped back, pushed the button again and the whole front came off. Waited at the front desk to let someone know it fell off and see if I could get some ice from their kitchen since they have a breakfast. Was told that they don’t have any other ice in the building. That’s when I told him about everything else that we experienced. Was offered to switch rooms but already had a kid asleep.
Just don’t even try...
