We are checking out today from our one night stay in Cabin 5. I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. Check in was super easy and was ready before check in time. I was so thankful and grateful this cabin had so much to offer. Lynne had the comforts of home in this cabin...down to paper plates, forks, spoons, playing cards, brochures, extra blankets, ketchup and mustard in the fridge! Lol, thick curtains on all the windows to block light, and even though we packed our box fan cause we can’t sleep without the white noise there was already one in the cabin! I’m floored how much she cares about her guests! There is even a aloe plant on the porch
Read moreI stood in Cabin 5 and it had so much charm, was very clean and built well. Everything about this place had exceeded any expectation I had on what stayingin a cabin would be like. Right on a roaring river, beautiful view and it had all the necessities (TP, paper towels, plastic wear, plates, cups, towels, face cloths, blankets, pillows) and grilling utensils) you would need. The heat doesn't drybout the air, but keeps it dry enough that it's not damp and cold on a rainy day. This was my first time ever in a cabin since tents are no longer the best idea for me. If you visit here, my only suggestions are: bring a mattress topper, flip flops & an electric hot plate and a pan in case you have to cook indoors. The grill is out in the open and the bed seems fine until you wake up all soar. It's really firm. Flip flops for the shower. It is really clean, but it has an uneven floor with smooth snores sticking out. Cute, but not to good if you are super soar after a long hike. Non of these are deal breakers for me and have simple solutions. I will definitely be back at...

Very bright in the rooms and the eating area situated next to the river is such a cool spot to eat breakfast and have a coffee. The access to the river is the best! We hung out in the river for most of one of the days. Sitting on the rocks and just chilling there watching my daughters have a blast was amazing. I definitely recommend bringing or buying the water shoes she has for sale. Very slippery rocks in the river. The charcoal grill/firepit was great for hanging out in the evenings. Lynne was very nice and accommodating. We'll be back for sure! Only thing I'd say is negative was it being on the main road. Not loud at all, but just had to keep an extra eye on the girls when they were playing out front. Also, well situated to downtown Lincoln, a water park, restaurants, the Hobo Railroad and great...
