Fired On The Mtn. Cafe — Restaurant in Lincoln

My fiancé and I met with Tabatha and Zephyr for a cupcake tasting for our upcoming wedding, and we are incredibly excited for them to make our wedding desserts! Tabatha created seven different flavor combinations for us and all of them were phenomenal! The cupcakes were delicious, beautifully decorated, and large in size, which will be perfect for our event. Also, the owners are so friendly, nice and accommodating. We highly recommend this cafe!

Update! Tabatha at Fired on the Mountain Café recently created our wedding cake and cupcakes and we are so glad we chose to work with her! Her cupcakes were incredibly delicious and the guests absolutely raved about them! They were beautifully decorated and looked stunning. She was very accommodating and made all of our cupcakes and cake vegan. She also made some that were vegan as well as gluten-free for our guests with gluten allergies. All of the cupcakes (except for the carrot cake) were nut-free for our guests with nut allergies. My husband and I cannot wait to visit Lincoln again so that we can have some more of her amazing baked goods! We highly recommend her to create your wedding cakes...

The only place in the area that has truly vegan/plant-based food, if you ask for it to be so. It isn't exclusive, so if you prefer real dairy cheese, eggs and milk, they definitely deliver. It's more of a breakfast/light lunch place. Of course, coffee and smoothies, even with protein powder. It has baked goods, it varies daily which is nice. They have even done vegan cupcakes and cakes for weddings! Oh, and they have tye dyed clothing items for sale, decorating the walls. It's a small place that is shared with a pottery studio (which is amazing in itself). There are only 3 tables inside, so most just take things to go. There is plenty of outdoor seating, though. It's a family owned place, and their food choices get better every time we return. This has been our 3rd year visiting the area and this is always the first stop we make....

I came here two days in a row while staying across the street in the beautiful Pemi Cabins. The woman working was so friendly (with a nice Bob Marley shirt!). The first time I went in, I was very interested in the muffins so the next time my husband and I each got a different muffin. And they were so moist and delicious! I am not vegan but chose the vegan pumpkin muffin and it was the best pumpkin anything I've ever had! The iced coffees came with coffee ice cubes which is genius! And she had all dairy options and gave me the whole gallon of oat milk to use for my coffee. So generous! She even melted sugar for my husband to use in his iced coffee. I can't say enough good things. I wish I asked her name. We visit the area frequently and I can't wait to come back to...
