The respect for just being the best thing about the Best Value Inn I do want to bring up something though I was in Little Rock when it was Studio 6 last year and it is changed tremendously and it's cleaner quieter and definitely friendlier with the new staff what I didn't understand was I was coming in the side door and there was two men that worked there trying to get Tara fired talking about she was too nosy people had to leave at 7 because she kept track of the rooms at and the money and they really smell bad of weed I don't understand why anybody would try to get somebody fired that's good for the company and I know that the owners I put a lot into changing the hotel around so I wanted them to know where snakes might still be in the mix I'll be in Tara AR great they are helpful they go above and beyond the first night I came I got charged $70 for the room was told I couldn't get my deposit back which was in a 30 and that's because they were just keeping the money when Tara came on she gave us a $46 rate my husband just got out of UAMS and we were stranded A Little Rock we end up spending almost $400 there and we deserve to be treated right well thanks to Tara and I'll be we were the pools clean and open and the place is way better I don't know the night guy's name is always been rude but this was above and beyond they must have been outside smoking weed and not heard me come in but they were plotting on how to get her fired and I just wanted to put it out there on top of that they tried to put us in a room that wasn't a good room and that didn't work and all those rooms are trying to get fixed at this moment but as soon as I got there she changed things around put us in a good clean room and even offered to change it to smoking when we were told there was no smoking rooms in there were but we stayed outside and smoked and kept the good room we had and respected the property because the staff that works the morning and day shift actually care work on the hotel and respect others I can't say that for the night shift and I'm not the only one that has a complaint if I did come back it would only be because of Tara she brightens up the place and she really cares I don't think anybody should be allowed to get fired so if they come to you with something that is out of character for I would really investigate it because they were really plotting and I'd also investigate all the extra money they put in their pockets giving out your...
Read moreThey have BED BUGS! ROOM 144. Stay away! It was an Awful and horrific experience. When I went to bed I noticed I couldn't stop scratching. I turned on the lights to examine myself and why I was scratching only to find my bed was covered in bed bugsand I was covered in bites. I would have switched hotels altogether if I didn't have to be up for an important meeting the next morning. The night clerk was able to switch me to a different room but I was terrified all throughout the night. The person who called himself the hotel manager only cared whether or not I was checking out on time, even though I had already requested a late check out at 1130. Not once did they apologize or show any concern for my well being. My complaint was completely disregarded and no attention (documentation, maintenance or pest control) was given to the room/bed with the bed bugs. I told the manager that I didnt drive 6 hours to not get rest and be bitten by bed bugs. His response was "Then why did you?" He did NOT care about liability or customer service at all. No refunds were offered. When I asked for a refund he told me to call Travelocity. I didnt even book through Travelocity. He is rude and that hotel is disgusting. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!! Read moreI was absolutely disappointed in the service here. The man I met on the first night was incredibly nice, but the man on my second day was absolutely horrid. His customer service skills were not great in any means.
I bought an extra day and when I came back after a long day, my entire room was empty. The staff had bagged up all of my things and put them into a storage room (even though I paid for another day). Items that shouldn't be together were just mixed up in bags.
I asked that they file a report in case something went missing (I had everything in a certain place), but the front desk guy refused and was very rude to me. I have never had this happen and was astonished that they did this. They refused to give me any sort of compensation for the mistake. I will never go here again.
